Emmerdale
Oh bloody hell! Just watched it. Chris Chittel was fantastic.

Emmerdale
I'm not really a Ross fan (I think the actor is good - but the character isn't likeable at all) but I was fairly shocked to see him go. I'm still a bit sceptical though and I'd rather the characters Pete or Debbie had died. I've not watched tonight's episode yet so I don't know what's happening. I'm treating myself to a nice bottle of wine and I'm going to watch my recorded Emmerdale and (as shit as it is) Corrie back-to-back with a little bit of Mark Williams 'The Link' fitted in somewhere!

Emmerdale
What kind of shit do you watch then?

Emmerdale
You know what? For the weeks running up to this - I couldn't wait to see the back of Val (even though I used to love her at one time) but during tonight's episodes - I just didn't want her to die (even though we all knew she was going). The demise of Ross was a shock ... has he really gone though?

Emmerdale
Really good again tonight. Sad to see Ruby go - the actress was underused though in my opinion. Hope to see her in more stuff.

Coronation Street
I thought her an Bethany were staying with Nick.

Emmerdale
No soap does big disaster type scenes better than Emmerdale. Mind you - the scenes leading up to it were brilliant. Heck - everything about Emmerdale tonight was brilliant. The best soap by far.

Emmerdale
I love and hate Charity in equal measures! Can't wait to see her back for good ... but don't like her trying to split up Cain and Moira.

Coronation Street
I liked the reference to Davenports tonight!

Emmerdale
Can't wait to see the back of Val after tonight!

Coronation Street
I think Corrie has got a tiny bit better over the last few episodes - apart of course from the dreadful Sarah Harding. She was so pants its unbelievable! It still isn't a patch on Emmerdale - but ... what is?

Emmerdale
Emmerdale was brilliant tonight. There really is only one soap at the moment. OK - I'll admit - could do without the Jai/Rachel and Debbie/Ross/Pete saga - but apart from that - it hasn't missed a beat. The guy who plays Robert is absolutely brilliant. I can see him going on to even greater things.

People you miss not seeing on TV these days
I know how your mum feels! She's marginally less annoying than Kirsty Allsop (Lorne Spicer - not your mum!)

Coronation Street
Corrie was back on top form tonight. About time too! Kate Ford continues to prove that she can deliver the goods when given the right situation and the right lines.

'The Walking Dead' | Season 6
Really starting to get quite excited about the next series of TWD! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txylxp92Fxk

Coronation Street
Kate Ford was good again tonight! The reading of that letter brought a tear to my eye!

Coronation Street
I thought all around the Deirdre reveal was fine (especially Eileen Derbyshire - I was particularly watching Emily's face when Liz gave the news and it was brilliant). The final scene with Bill Roache and Simon Gregson was great and unexpected. Oh and Kate Ford was good too! It was a nice touch having Audrey call Tracy Tracyluv!

The Syndicate
Godfrey seemed happy enough - he didn't seem driven by money anyway - besides which - he got himself engaged to a woman who was worth more than him and his syndicate mates put together! I felt more sorry for Spencer taking the rap for the whole thing. Amy was unlikable even before we discovered she was behind the whole thing all along! I have to admit though - I found the whole thing rather sloppily written. It wasn't the worst thing I've seen on TV lately but it certainly wasn't up there with the best! Lenny Henry was just bloody annoying too!

Coronation Street
I'll miss her gorgeous outfits! I really like Katy Cavanagh (she was excellent in The Cops) but after a promising start - the character of Julie just seems to have treaded water (not the actress's fault). It was good to see Brian Packham back (I know I'm in the minority in liking him - but he did come out with some funny lines).

Coronation Street
I'm taking a partial break from Corrie for a while now. Its just so boring. It isn't worth putting up with the dross for the sake of a few generally good bits. Far too caught up in the brilliant Emmerdale at the moment. Can't wait for slimeball Jai to get his comeuppance and hell ... its worth watching for the absolutely gorgeous Jeff Hordley who as Cain is looking more sizzling than ever!

Coronation Street
I can't believe its the same actress! She was DREADFUL in her first stint on Corrie - absolutely dreadful. This time round though - Sally Ann Matthews really is good. I thought her performance tonight was brilliant. Sophie though ... eugh! On other matters ... I'm glad Brian is back!

Vicious
I'm so disappointed! Sir Ian was in Wigan today - just yards from where I work and I didn't find out about it until I got home tonight!

Take That - Live 2015 Tour
Even worse Dylan - is that these 'restricted view' seats at the side of the stage (and up in the Gods) - they are actually BEHIND the screens. The screens are useless to you - and unless the artists go to the very front edge of the stage - you see nothing of them. They really should be advertised as 'hearing' only - because you don't see the artists at all - first hand or on on screen! Having said that - a quick chat with the steward and we got what were in effect - front row seats!

Take That - Live 2015 Tour
A few years back my husband said 'OK then - if you can get tickets - I'll go' (because I'd been going on and on about how fabulous the concerts were). It was an empty gesture on his part (or so he thought) because it was near to the end of the tour and the concerts had been to all intents and purposes sold out for ages. HOWEVER!!! At the last minute they released some 'restricted view' seats for the last concert at the MEN. They were £25 - and I wasn't expecting much at all (they will have been the ones that you speak of - that I emboldened above). When we got there - we'd only got to our seats when my husband (who suffers claustrophobia - and by this time acrophobia!) said 'sorry love - I can't sit here for two hours - I'll have a heart attack'. As I'd already seen them 5 times (on the BW Tour) I thought - well at least he was willing - so we started to leave and I asked one of the stewards if he could just give our tickets to someone who didn't have any at all. Well the stewards at the MEN were fabulous - he told us to hold on and he'd try to get us somewhere less high (he could see by this time my husband was virtually pale green in the face). The guy managed to seat us right at the side of the stage almost within touching distance of Jason!!!!! They were the best seats we'd ever had. I'm so glad we made this one too - as with it being the last night at Manchester - Beverley Knight joined them on the centre stage.
