I think I said at the time we first saw Eugene -'if he's got the answer to this - then I'm Margaret Thatcher!' The only thing I could get from this episode was at least I was proven right!

Horses for courses I suppose. I thought it was dreadful - with dreadful acting too. I don't like Beth but I really enjoyed last weeks episode. I actually like some of the characters in this episode - but wish I hadn't bothered watching now. It was a total waste of time - if ever there was a 'filler' episode then this was it.

TWD - Monday, 10th November. Well that was an hour of my life I'll never get back. Without doubt the very worst episode of TWD from any series. The only mercy was Eugene admitting what we'd all suspected from the moment he first appeared!!!!

So glad someone else agrees with me about Katie! She's just 'orrible! At the moment I'm rooting for Lauren. She seems like a true hard worker and I just love her accent. Plus - in the task - she really put effort into making the tour experience a pleasure for the punters by swotting up and really trying to get to grips with her tour - she was aware of the factor that if a customer gets pleasant experience - they'll either come back - or recommend the experience to others - she sees things long-term. My second favourite after her is Mark (the Australian?)

I was cringing at James. Surely he has to go soon. What an embarrassment. Lauren was absolutely brilliant with her tour.

Oddly enough Tim pairs well with Sally and he pairs well with Kevin. In these things writers usually make out the ex-partner and the new partner out to be at each other's throats - but having Tim and Kevin as pals works really well.

To be honest - it was good to have a fairly calm, sanitised episode for once - instead of blood, gore and fetid flesh that you could almost smell through the TV screen!!!

I thought it was a good episode ... and I don't like Beth! I like this Noah fella! He looks a bit like Will Smith - but I'll forgive him for that! Can't wait for next week given that it was on the trolley at the end! And to be honest - it wasn't about giving Beth her own episode - it was to introduce some more characters - some characters who have so far been shielded from face-to-face confrontations with the undead!

Totally agree. I'd never have thought I'd enjoy a Beth-centric episode but I really liked that! And on the stretcher at the end!!!! Can't wait for next week!

I've never been a great fan of Kate Ford's acting but I thought she did a pretty good job tonight. Back to the episode(s) as a whole ... I found the 'little' things the best. I love the relationship between Sally/Tim/Kevin. Like most divorced couples I've known - the partners DO get on well! Kevin and Tim are as good together as Tim and Sally!!!!!

I love Charity even more! I don't think she was tough enough on the blackmailing bint though!

I agree - I love Gail (but I prefer her when she's having a slanging match with people). My favourite Gail moment is here though! The trailer for the upcoming episodes looks amazing (although why that drippy dope Gary is dropped into it I don't know - what makes the writers think anyone is interested in him or his latest love is beyond me). I don't want Rob to go!!!!!!

Is it wrong for me to want Peter to stay in prison and for Rob to get away with it? I mean Tina was a bit of a trollop after all! And a gobby one at that! I'm hoping Carla can't bring herself to snitch on her brother. Being the noble soul that she is though - you just know she's either going to persuade Rob to come clean to the cops - or he'll pop his clogs! I really felt sorry for Rob last night - and Marc Baylis has done a really good job in making most people actually feel for him - despite knowing his guilt. Mind you! What does that say about Peter Barlow?
  15. Congrats to Robbie & Ayda on the birth of their baby son! If it were me - I'd have given him a kick in the goolies for the way he was blogging & piccing Ayda's labour. OH thought it was quite endearing!!!!!!!
  16. Now now Richie! Its Tax Avoidance - not Tax Evasion. Evasion is illegal, Avoidance is just morally bankrupt (so said David Cameron). Anyway - I say 300K first week (I know TT fans - they buy one for themselves and a dozen copies for Christmas presents for their friends and family).

I don't find the walkers come across as a threat at all now (not now that we've had adversaries that can plot and scheme) however I do agree that I'd like it to get back to a city environment.

I think the reason Glen and Maggie left with Abraham is they feared Beth would come back and start singing all over the place! Good episode last night (a bit slower than the previous two - but necessarily so I think).

The Dingle hypocrisy goes back much further than that. I'm older - I can remember even more dastardly things that have been done.

Nothing is as bad as Alfie Moon / Shane Richie!

Disagree with this entirely. The people I've known who've suffered from depression have usually been the people you'd least likely to suspect, i.e., the life and soul of the party - but to themselves deeply alone. This is why I think Steve is the BEST character to be at the centre of this storyline - it just depends how the scriptwriters set it out. To be frank - it would be too safe to have the storyline centre around Roy and ... from the way Roy normally acts - would anyone know the difference? I also disagree with your comment on who is the better actor. Whilst I'd concur that David Nielson is a very good actor I'd argue agains him being much better than Simon Gregson (who IMO is one of the most underrated actors in soap). Gregson could carry this storyline off brilliantly - if the scriptwriters give him the dialogue to work with.

I honestly thought she was going to say 'Look Mr S! I'll save you the trouble! I'm pants! I am the weakest link! Goodbye!' I'm sure she did want to do that but the producers can't have anyone other than Sid have the last word.

At the moment no soap is keeping me as glued as Emmerdale - it may be something to do with the fantastic Charity (she's the best, funniest, most believable soap drunk ever). I really hope when the time comes for her to leave Emmerdale - Emma Atkins has roles deserving of her - she's brilliant.

It was a trifle disturbing ... but if you've eaten a Subway sandwich - it ain't that bad!

I've disliked the zombies for ages now. What's the challenge in a foe that can't think and strategise? It was the reason I loved the introduction of The Governor (until the writers dragged the bloody Woodbury thing out!) I'm back on track with it now - a foe that is capable of outwitting our heroes! Still not a patch on the first series (I actually liked the 'soap' aspect of series 1 - even the first half of series 2).
