I've only just started watching this (I watched the last couple of episodes of the previous series and loved it). Will have to catch up on the first few series. I love that Tony Pitts (his Archie is my perennial favourite from Emmerdale) is in this and his surname in this begins with an 'H'. Mind you - as I've only caught onto this - I have to find out what all the mystique is about.

Agree about Rana - why couldn't it have been the other way around (Kate is just dreadful - the actress leaves a lot to be desired). The only person who evoked any emotion in me was Imran - a beautifully understated performance. I don't normally like Carla and think Alison King is very overrated - but her and Peter tonight were good. I liked the David / Nick scene.

I don't know! It could be either of them! I'm hoping the ending isn't going to be a total let-down like the ending on 'The Temp' or 'Liar'.

I watched it last night and am recording tonight's episode (so I can watch it an f/f the ads). I quite enjoyed it - it was mildly diverting. As much of a loon as Rose appears to be - I just can't warm to Leah at all - I know she's supposed to be the victim in this (or is she?) but she's a bit of a bitch. Shame about poor little Betsy though!

I agree with you about him making personal comments (especially weight - as I think any activity - be it dancing, ice-skating, gymnastics, anything - should be encouraged for anyone no matter what their size) but Gemma wasn't entirely correct regarding the 'selling a story'. Gardiner was interviewed (along with the other panelists) but I believe The Scum just picked out Gardiner's comments (well what do you expect from The Scum)? For entertainment's sake - I agree that Gemma is pretty good value and it really doesn't matter that other 'talented' skaters will be knocked out along the way to make sure of her continued presence (after all - as I indicated earlier it isn't as though they are going to represent the country in the sport) its just that I really can't stand Gemma - all that talking of herself in the third person really isn't necessary for really what is a 'c' list (at best) celebrity.

I agree with you. I don't hate her but she is a waste of space. And to be honest - Jason was far more insulting and genuinely hurtful to Sharon Davies when she was a contestant (and at least Sharon Davies put the time in and didn't take the piss like Gemma does). Gemma is loving the criticism anyway - she knows the longer it carries on - the longer she'll get her TV coverage. The best way for the panel to get shut of her is to praise her - when that happens - and she has nothing to be gobby about - the votes will dry up and she'll be out. Sadly though - I can see her being in the last four the way things are going. And having said that - well it is just an entertainment show after all and she provides some sort of entertainment I guess (if you like that kind of thing). It isn't as if whoever wins is going to represent GB in the next Winter Olympics is it?

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a must for me. Home Alone 2 (for some reason - I think its Tim Curry) I prefer it to Home Alone (although I like that one too - McCauley Culkin is just the cutest child actor ever). I'll watch any of the Christmas Carol/Scrooge outings (although the very best, for me, is the made for TV one with George C Scott as Ebeneezer Scrooge) There's an old Robert Mitchum one as well - A Holiday Affair which I'll root out on youtube (its fab).

I've only heard her cackling to be honest. And she really doesn't say much - she just narrates what's been going on in camp. And I've never heard anyone use the expression OMG as much as her. I really liked her at the beginning (and I thought she was fabulous in that pizza trial - I honestly think she was the ONLY one who could have done it and came back 100%) but as the show has gone on - I guess its the old saying 'familiarity breeds contempt'. I think James is quite intelligent. OK - he doesn't say much - but when he does its worth hearing.

I think Nick just wants to get out to see how far his album is going on the iTunes chart! Not surprised Fleur is doing the trial - they know she'll bring back most food stars. I must admit - she was impressive in that Gore Seasons Pizza trial (I think the most demanding one this series - along possibly with the eating ones) but really the trials have been piss-easy compared to previous years - that anyone could win the camp full stars. I mean - that one with Emily - where all she had to do was move a few critters a few inches away from a crate to a crate - what was all that about? Judas Priest - I think even Helen Flanagan or Gillian McKeith could have managed that one!

I find his 'man of the people' act very, very boring - why can't he revel in being a bit of a snob the way Noel did/does. There's nothing wrong in being a snob as long as you're funny with it. All the so-called 'true stories' (that to me strangely had his camp-mates in stitches) were stories that have been going the rounds for ages (i.e, 'pulling off the Russian player if he didn't improve before half-time' 'heck all we got was an orange'). I don't know - maybe its because I'm old and can remember the times when Shankly, Revie, Clough and a load of others joked similarly the first time round. That's it - its because I'm so old that I find Harry a bore - maybe the youngsters in the camp (and outside of it perhaps) see him as a novelty or hilarious. He'll win though.

It isn't even Fleur herself - but it feels like she's being shoved down our throats with the amount of airtime she's getting (and yes that isn't her fault). And - it is nothing to do with her being confident and black - because I felt exactly the same about Toff, Scarlett and Vicki before - just like them - the producers seem to have made her the 'chosen one'. Fleur's got a fantastic personality - but it was shining through earlier on - and could stand up in its own right - but now the producers have decided to force-feed her upon us - and perhaps it is this and not Fleur herself that is annoying.

I'm with you. Really disappointed that Sair has gone. Having said that - as much as I like Anne - she really isn't adding ANYTHING to the process. I really think its time for her to go. Having said that - I think she honestly would like to go.
