I’m A Celebrity 2017
Sadly I do as well. I think the people (or at least some) that voted for Dennis may be stupid enough to transfer their votes to Jamie/Amir.

I’m A Celebrity 2017
Well to be honest - there will never be a finer participant than David Gest - but most of them that year were great.

I’m A Celebrity 2017
Not really. I think the glory days of I'm a Celebrity are long gone now.

Iain - please stop apologising!

I’m A Celebrity 2017
Jamie or Vanessa next. As boring as Vanessa is - I'd rather Jamie went purely because he's a knob!

I’m A Celebrity 2017
Shit! Becky was my second favourite! How the hell are translucent Jenny and Invisible Vanessa still in there? Ah well .... at least Toff's still there (she's going to win).

I’m A Celebrity 2017
Well that was the best bit of the series so far. Hilarious! Not sure if they were told to do it by the producers ... but even if they did - they played it well.

I actually like Amir. So far! And the girl (Toff?) she's hilarious.

I’m A Celebrity 2017
I hate to say it (because I can't stand Boris Johnson) but I had the feeling before the thing began that Stanley was going to be good VFM. This is the only reality show that I watch so I hope its a good one.

I’m A Celebrity 2017
I think I actually like Johnson best so far! At least he's the same as me - I don't know these people either!

Good grief! The budget must be tiny this year! Who are these people?

The Walking Dead \ S8 Discussion
It really isn't what it used to be though Jonjo. I still watch it because there are a few characters that I'm still invested in - like Carol, Gabriel, Aaron and oddly enough - Dwight. Some characters are just plain boring now - Morgan and Jesus being the two main ones. Carol and Carl are the only two of the original group that I have any time for - and seriously - what use is Maggie? I'm tired of Jesus constantly singing her praises (has she done something of an immaculate nature off screen that we're unaware of?). It is still fairly entertaining - but whereas once I'd eagerly sit down with a glass of wine and watch it with undivided attention - I find myself half watching while I'm playing online Scrabble or Word Feud.

Coronation Street
As far fetched as it is - I've really enjoyed the Phelan storyline - mainly because of the performance of Connor McIntyre. Tonight's episode (the scenes around this episode anyway) was great. Connor, Oliver and Ian all played the story out well. Although Phelan's character has been largely unlikable to most - there has always been that little shred of decency or humanity (keeping this totally separate from his darker past deeds) just visible enough to make you at least want to understand him. Tonight though - he has crossed the line enough to make his comeuppance welcome.

What Films Have You Watched Over Christmas?
Recently: Pet Eyes of My Mother (I normally like weird films - but this was just weird and ... not very good) The Autopsy of Jane Doe (excellent) Although Pet was generally good - I was reminded of a fairly similar film Chained (which I highly recommend). On a happier note - I watched Elf for the first time over the festive period and loved it.

Only 85? He looks at least 95!

Celebrity Big Brother Series 19
Does anyone remember the days when there were people in Celebrity Big Brother that - even if not classed as 'A' list - at least you'd heard of them?

Christmas TV Highlights
The thing is - if its done right - it really is worth sticking with for the ending. I'd stick to the 1957 film though if I were you - or if its staged at a local theatre (an am-dram production) go and see that.

I was as well. Wished I hadn't bothered now. I'm going to have to dig out the old Charles Laughton / Marlene Deitrich one to cleanse my mind of it. Or close my eyes and try and relive the brilliant production that Wigan Little Theatre did of it.

Coronation Street
Moment of the night was Peter hitting Nick squarely on the neck with Tufty!

Christmas TV Highlights
I don't understand it either. I watched it for the first time last night and just thought - this is just so dated. The canned laughter makes it even worse than it is. I like the fellow who plays Mrs Brown though - in person he seems like a really nice chap.

Emmerdale
It is a little ... what should we say? Why? Why - FTLOG - when Cain is there for the taking?
