Adele - 25
"Sweetest Devotion" is more than I ever imagined an Adele song could be. It's hit me so hard I think it'll go down as one of my favourites of this year. Sounds ridiculous but it's almost giving me "Yoü and I" teas (I bloody love "Yoü and I").

Confessions@10 | Album Survivor
Surely, surely, Isaac cannot survive another round. A typical "last quarter of the album filler" from M.

Adele - 25
"Water Under the Bridge" and "Sweetest Devotion" are my instant favourites. Both really quite gorgeous.

Army | 2nd single
but you're projecting your own ambition for her onto her, when it's very evident that this IS what she wants to be doing. And the idea that these songs are a radical departure from what she's done before is kind of ridiculous - it's still very much an Ellie album (Holding On For Life could have come from Halcyon for instance), just dressed up in glossier production and more uptempo. Her DNA is all over it. I can't imagine most of these songs sung by anybody else. Sheezus was a bloody awful album bordering on career suicide. This will have long legs.

Army | 2nd single
Do you seriously listen to Delirium and think "this is dull"? It really couldn't be more packed with melody or immaculately produced. It's a better album than 1989.

Army | 2nd single
^ John 100% spot on. Nothing to worry about here. Ellie is not Taylor Swift.

Bond 24: 'Spectre'
Metacritic is a much more reliable aggregator than RT. Quantum has 58 on there, Spectre has 60.

Delirium | 3rd album
You make it sound like a bad thing!

Confessions@10 | Album Survivor
Isaac. It's already come too far.

Delirium | 3rd album
Ridiculed you? Where are the receipts? Something... was the biggest grower of all.

Delirium | 3rd album
Cannot believe I ever rated Holding On For Life a 7. It's my new fave. WHAT A BANGER!

Bond 24: 'Spectre'
Very disappointing film for me personally. On the one hand Skyfall is one of my favourite films ever, but on the other I didn't expect Spectre to be that great. I just wanted it to be strong and it wasn't. Very weak storyline - still not sure what Oberhauser's scheme actually was - and Christoph Waltz was, surprisingly, extremely bland here. Very much miscast. No action sequences that were especially memorable, a subpar script (Swann loves Bond after two days? Really? They drive off in a DB5 and that's supposed to be an epic climax to the film?!)... Lea Seydoux was great and Monica Bellucci good too but both she and Moneypenny were dreadfully underused. Moneypenny had about 4 lines of dialogue in the whole film. I enjoyed it very much on a visual level and for the cast (Ralph Fiennes also did great) but the story left much to be desired. B-

Delirium | 3rd album
I couldn't disagree more, it's a massively coherent pop album! The only song that seems like an outsider is Lost and Found seeing as it's quite folky but even then it makes sense somehow. Potential singles: Something in the Way You Move Around U Codes Holding On For Life Don't Panic Keep On Dancin' Can't go wrong really.

Kylie Christmas ● 13th Studio Album ● Part I
Well he wasn't stating it as fact. "Every Day's Like Christmas" is sensational. It has to go to radio surely...

Delirium | 3rd album
Well it's not underperforming in the US - on target for 50k+ there. From Aftertaste right through to Love Me Like You Do is a bloody insane run of pop songs. Ellie delivered big time.

White Diamond (ballad) is dreary as hell. Out with it!
