  1. ^ I agree with your ranking completely. Delilah is wonderful. Very joyous. The way it shifts tempo puts me in mind of The Flood by Katie Melua.
  2. I know I'm going back a couple of pages here, but really, dragging up Cameron leaving his daughter in a pub as an example of a "failing" is absurd! It could literally happen to anyone, especially as if memory serves they left in different cars and both parties thought the other had her. I hate when stuff like that is brought into political discussions. Ditto sandwichgate.
  3. The video is phenomenal obviously, because Joseph Khan. But the remix is also surprisingly great. Not that I'm here for Kendrick's verses but the beefed up production is quite spectacular.

Oh no I didn't mean that, I just read somebody on popjustice say it was on iTunes now. Fortunately I have the German version of deezer so I don't have to wait weeks to stream it :D
  5. Max Branning only 44? Are you all f***ing mental? I bet Phil isn't even top 20 either.

This is already on iTunes? Seems kinda low key...

"Everyone" wants Stacey and Martin? Really? I certainly don't. Martin is annoying af.
  8. Anybody following the various major European leagues this season? Paris St Germain are French champions having now won eight consecutive matches. Bayern became uncatchable weeks ago, and immediately started losing (having now lost four league games and their German Cup SF in a row). More interesting in the Bundesliga is the battle between Wolfsburg and Gladbach (who are massively over performing) for second, and whether or not Dortmund can sneak into sixth place after their nightmare season to have a shot at Europe League. In Serie A it's a similar tale - Juve way out ahead, but second place could go to Lazio or Roma, and the two face each other next weekend in the Rome derby. Napoli also in contention, whilst AC Milan seem to be in absolute turmoil having lost again today and with a new ownership and new manager around the corner this summer. More drama than the premier league anyway. :D
  9. Middlesborough 2-1.

Hahaha. Absurd from Mané. Sub three minutes for the whole hatrick! They're casually 5-0 up at 40 minutes.
  11. Labour are f***ing massive knobs if they think Andy Burnham is the future of their party. Jesus.
  12. Oh my god, "Love Gets Me Every Time" and "Don't Be Stupid!" are both oh so amazing. Probably my numbers two and three Shania faves.
  13. Quite a big song. "I check my phone when I am weak, she never posts anything deep" however...

    Sounds like it will slay.
  16. I think it's time the centre-right Blairites of the labour party let go of New Labour now. We have a situation where a right wing party are in government whilst being extremely divisive. There's a lot of appetite for a left wing party to counter the right's stance on austerity and big business and public services and so on, but Labour won't make any progress whilst they represent a weird middle ground which isn't really any more left than it is right. The Libs also made the mistake of shifting right (the price they had to pay for a stake of power) and it killed them. Whilst they are the opposition party, labour need to truly represent a set of opposition values. I don't believe the problem this time was that they didn't court the middle classes enough, or that "aspirational" / socially mobile types didn't believe Labour had their interests at heart. The problem was (if it can be tidily diluted into just one or two arguments) that the Tories created some very convincing narratives which hurt Labour - they screwed Britain financially, they're going to break up the union. They might have stood a better chance if they had focused on countering those arguments rather than rising above to run a positive campaign - even if that did feel refreshing, it clearly wasn't reassuring. Shifting away from the left is not the answer, and I don't view Chukka as being any more in tune with the electorate than any of the privileged Tories. He speaks in horrible political rhetoric that feels over rehearsed and lacking in sincerity. Appointing he or Burnham would be various levels of disastrous imo.

Bayern have lost four times on the trot now. Barca 2-1.
  18. Killer signing by Van Gaal. Depay is awesome. Not a bad price either.

Not pretty much goalless. Actually goalless. I think it's gonna end 0-0 sadly.
  22. lol at anyone voting Britney. She has zero profile outside the US and even there it's only her fanbase giving Pretty Girls a half decent song. When said and done it will be a flop. Miley is so much a bigger part of pop culture right now.

Deserved win for Juve, they really rose to the occasion. Quite a thrilling game, but I still see Real going through.
  24. Awesome to know you've looked into your crystal ball and seen that Britain will never come under attack or find itself in need of a defence system!

I hate to say it but United played a good game yesterday and sorely deserved a minimum of one point. They were really unlucky. HOWEVER that sets Arsenal up super well for a top three finish, so no complaints :D
