Really? Wolfsburg have displayed by far the strongest, most consistent form across all leagues this year. Fiorentina are in good form generally but still capable of some shocking results like the 0-4 loss to Lazio a couple of weeks back. All depends on the draw I guess, but my money's on Wolfsburg.

Falcao "cries regularly" according to the Guardian. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/m...-louis-van-gaal That's not embarrassing at all.
  3. Not on Drugs is not a hit, and fortunately they're releasing Timebomb next.

    Wtaf. WTAF!
  5. I'm also going to Amsterdam. What a coincidence! It's my first time seeing her live, trés excited.

Very comfortable draw for the big four. (Not including PSG in that statement!) Bayern and Barca will cruise through, Juve should be fine although it probably won't be a high scoring pair of matches, and Real will find their form when it counts. Score predictions - PSG 1:2 Barca Barca 2:0 PSG Atletico 2:2 Real Real 3:0 Atletico Porto 1:3 Bayern Bayern 4:0 Porto Juve 2:0 Monaco Monaco 1:1 Juve

Maybe it doesn't say anything about the PL. Maybe the Spanish and Italian sides just happen to be in better form right now. It's not some awful disaster that requires microanalysis and it's such an English attitude to imagine we have the right to dominate every year.
  8. That does not make his job harder, for god's sake! Persuading people he can win *is* his job, and if anything the fact that even members of his own party have a low expectation of him is a help to his chances, because it allows his policies to do the talking. Of course, the policies need to be good for that to be true. If he isn't in fact capable of persuading people he can lead, he certainly isn't capable of actually leading this country. The talk is the easy part, the walk that follows is the difficult bit.
  9. ^have you heard Breathe? I don't like Worship much on first play, but still here for the album.
  10. Move to indie? You can't be serious. They're bloody pop.
  11. Solitaire has the most heavenly chorus. If you close your eyes it's like being lifted skyward by an angel with very soft skin. I'm not cursed. I was just covered in dirt.

They played a fantastic match. Some really great football. Giroud, Ramsey and Cazorla all did superb jobs. Of course it was never going to happen after that first leg disaster, but with 13 wins from 15 matches we're at least primed now to get the FA cup and keep hold of third place.
  13. Solitaire is gorgeous. Blue is instantly one of her greatest tracks and really must be released, such an obvious hit. Savages and Gold are very good, and Forget is growing even though it lifts so blatantly from I'm a Ruin. Overall it's the first Marina album I've enjoyed start to end, even though it's rather too samey in places (in terms both of the production and melodies). It's all superbly well crafted.

Everton cannot possibly win the Europa League. They've been lucky with the draw so far but faced with Napoli, Wolfsburg or Zenit for instance they would crumble.

f***ING YES! Best song on the album, an absolute pop BEHEMOTH and a very obvious smash hit. I thought it'd never happen.
  16. IKR. Justin's own lead single probably won't be this hot. Mega tune.
  17. I think from what I've read elsewhere it's virtually everybody's favourite! And mine, along with Invincible. It's funny because the demo was actually quite bland but the production and increased tempo has totally transformed the song. I think it's one of her best vocals too.

Mirror Man is not inappropriate for CIN at all! If it doesn't go top forty it serves them right for sitting on such an obvious single for so long and releasing slush like Yours instead.

Better or not, it has more obvious radio appeal than It Was Always You so surely you can appreciate why it was picked...

Theo you bloody celebrity hobnobber, I hate you. xo.
  21. Sound the axtremely amazing pop song klaxon. The Maroon 5 comparisons are lazy though, falsetto is all this has in common with Sugar. By the way surely this needs to be moved to pop now. It's about as urban as paté on a French crust.

    Good song, stupid single.

    Is that a serious question?

I had no idea So Over You was a naughty boy creation. I'm still getting my life from this album, I think despite being quite "throwaway" it's gonna stay fresh for a while. Gold Coins is my favourite sin. So deliciously crunchy.
  25. Shania's love of (excessive) punctuation is one of the (many!) things I adore about her. I still won't hold my breath for a new album though because it's been coming for years now, and without Mutt I really don't know how she could dream of producing another Come on Over. WE SHALL SEE (...probably!).
