This album is a major grower isn't it? With a little rejig of the tracklist I've really got into it. My favourites right now are Invincible, Take You High, Good Goes the Bye, and In the Blue.

I'm surprised to have to say it's pretty damn good. Better actually than Say Something, which had all the ingredients but never quite popped for me. Agree with Bal as well. If this was anyone else the praise would be higher.

To be honest all of George Ezra's singles are better than Lighthouse. The sentiment behind it / the video is nice but the song just ain't strong enough for radio. The chorus doesn't pop at all.

Fair point re the Glynnester, but this song and campaign have clearly been very carefully tailored to recapture the vibe and repeat the success of Call Me Maybe, with some Red era Taylor thrown in for good measure, and it's not exactly common for that to come off. As I said, I'll keep an open mind.

It does sound almost exactly like Real Love, but considering that song was amazing and a huge hit, it could be worse! There's just so much room in the current pop landscape for somebody whose music is as joyous and unpretentious as this. She could lay some foundations that long outlast the dance music revival she came from.

I agree with Scherz. She has unfortunately reached a point now where her fans online are letting their disappointment about her image cloud their judgment of the music, and nothing she puts out is gonna be good enough whereas anything the other girls do will get automatic love. It's a shame.
