  1. Kiss Me Once is a perfectly good album. Not her best, far from her worst. People are too hard on it.
  2. 4. Be Alright was the clear fourth single. This will probably do OK.
  5. West Brom 1-2 Manchester United Bournemouth 1-2 Southampton Tottenham 3-1 Burnley Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal Everton 1-3 Liverpool
  6. Of course it's the kind of sucky draw only Arsenal could summon but I really feel we have a solid chance this time. Bayern look quite exposed atm and Arsenal's form is excellent. February is a long way away though. But not slitting my wrists just yet.
  7. Thanks, Mystic Meg, for your insight. Your beginning-of-season's predictions for Jose and United are of course a sparkling indictment of your predictive talents. :D

What a load of horsecrock! Sanchez is having a brilliant season. It's hardly a suprise he looked a little absent when he'd played a game in Chile three days earlier, a win in which he was the deciding factor, and then taken a transatlantic flight and had one day's training at the Emirates. Ozil is more hit and miss this season, but less so than the apparently "world class" Pogba...

Apart from SPACE (and even that is hardly a major theme here) they have precisely NOTHING in common!
  14. Man Utd 1-2 Arsenal Crystal Palace 0-3 Man City Everton 2-1 Swansea Southampton 2-2 Liverpool Stoke 2-1 Bournemouth Sunderland 1-1 Hull Watford 2-1 Leicester Tottenham 2-0 West Ham Middlesbrough 0-3 Chelsea West Brom 1-0 Burnley

Cool Girl is not hollow lyrically whatsoever! If you choose to take it literally, perhaps, but it's clearly a comment on playing it cool to keep somebody when you'd actually rather have commitment but you don't wanna lose them. It's a great lyric. Also a fine lead single, True Disaster wouldn't have done any better. There are no big smashes on this album.
  16. Bournemouth 1-0 Sunderland Burnley 1-2 Crystal Palace Man City 3-0 Middlesbrough West Ham 1-1 Stoke Chelsea 3-1 Everton Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham Hull 1-2 Southampton Liverpool 3-0 Watford Swansea 0-2 Man Utd Leicester 2-0 West Brom
  17. Rarely felt so terrified as in the minutes either side of that Ozil winner. WHAT A GOAL THOUGH!

It's only you being cocky though. Anyway Jose is clearly going through something right now. He's experiencing third season syndrome in his first season at Utd. Looks miserable, passionless, firing off rants at the media about anything and everybody, slagging off players, leaving expensive, fit signings off the subs bench... United need 6 points from their next 3 games otherwise Christmas is going to come around they're going to be way too off the pace for a top four finish, and Jose will be out.

What use is 37 shots when none end up in the net? That's the exact opposite of an encouraging stat...

A little disappointed by the album. The hooks aren't as big as QOTC and the overall sonic landscape of the record is very samey and frankly a bit drab. The production sounds expensive but not many of the songs really pop. Influence, Cool Girl, True Disaster and Keep It Simple are all excellent though.

Ha. United will not beat Arsenal. Draw at best for you guys.
  22. Sunderland 0-3 Arsenal Man Utd 3-0 Burnley Middlesbrough 1-2 Bournemouth Tottenham 2-0 Leicester Watford 1-0 Hull West Brom 1-3 Man City Crystal Palace 1-2 Liverpool Everton 2-0 West Ham Southampton 1-2 Chelsea Stoke 1-1 Swansea
  23. 6-0. Not too shabby. :D
  24. Bournemouth 1-2 Tottenham Arsenal 3-0 Middlesbrough Burnley 0-1 Everton Hull 1-1 Stoke Leicester 2-1 Crystal Palace Swansea 1-1 Watford West Ham 1-0 Sunderland Liverpool 2-0 West Brom Man City 2-1 Southampton Chelsea 2-1 Man Utd

Lallana is totally transformed versus two years ago. What a player. On balance the draw was deserved, but most of it was also bloody boring. Everything looking quite superb for Arsenal right now, anc with Middlesborough and Sunderland in the next fortnight there's every chance of an eight-game winning streak. And then it's Spurs... and then United. :D
