What an album. Wasn't sure for the first few songs but the latter half especially is incredible. Choke, Fingertips, Dream, Born and especially Human - all dreamy and amazing. B+ with lots of room to grow.

Saw her this week in Berlin and she was utterly beyond. Incredible performer. This song went OFF, as did everything else. It's good, I think some of the other new tracks like On & On will be better though.

Stings are rarely if ever excellent journalism. If you have to set up a fake scenario to lure somebody into a crime, and even then print the story in a salacious way that misrepresents what went down and heavily edits the quotes to stack opinion against your subject, you're morally way out of line and clearly not doing it for ethical reasons. If Sam was involved in other dodgy stuff it wouldn't be hard for them to get a mic and record it. But they didn't. The Telegraph purport to be a serious newspaper but this is The Sun levels of distasteful.

Big Sam is an absolute moron and quite TOXIC at times but I actually feel bad for him. This is not good journalism, it's not exposing anything, it's just a tacky sting. He didn't even break the rules and in the quotes they elected to print only at the end of the article, even warned against doing so quite firmly. He doesn't deserve this.

Celtic! I've rarely seen Arsenal looking quite like this. Not to be hyperbolic or get ahead of myself but in this form, with Walcott and Sanchez looking so hungry and so ferocious (some of their interplay and Theo's runs were f***ing unreal) Arsenal can make the QFs for once, and challenge for the league. It's just so clean and effortless. A+

Great song, been on this for weeks now. I wouldn't describe it as "erratic" though, but the way final chorus explodes is quite epic.

Arsenal's demolition of Chelsea was utterly brutal. Easily the best performance from us in well over a year. Pure joy to watch Ozil, Sanchez, Iwobi and Walcott syncing up so effortlessly.

I hope I love this but I feel it looks a bit... sterile? Just a little formulaic and lacking any particular visual style. If Fincher had made this movie it would be almost certainly be exactly my type of thing. Still hoping to be proved wrong.

Exceptional woman / mega relatable icon or not, this song is terrible. Almost a parody in how closely it follows the Cheap Thrills formula.

She was total power pop on QOTC. I'm really hoping Cool Girl and Influence are the only songs with that vibe on the album. She was ALL about those explosive, melodic choruses and this "speak singing one line repeated ad nauseum" thing isn't doing it for me.

Utterly phenomenal trailer. Easily my most anticipated film of the year. Just looks like Ford reached into my brain and took out the most disturbing things he could find.
