Thanks for posting this John! :D The film actually looks brilliant regardless of Mariah's performance. :o Apparently she's only in the film for like 5 minutes but her minimal performance has impressed all of the critics which can only be good news. ^_^
  2. Not "news" as such but i've been watching the countdown and Mariah had ALL of the Top3. 3. Endless Love (duet with Luther Vandross) 2. Without You 1. Hero As voted for by the public... Or countless lambs.

They didn't say. :( I think they were running waaay over on time and were in danger of being cut off so they just missed it out. I imagine if you watch BGMT on ITV2 it'll tell you on there. ;)

AWWW at Natalie! Simon made the right choice though, Diversity were generally more talented and as much as I detest seeing children cry on national TV it had to be done. :(

Ahhhh Natalie! "It would mean lots and lots to me" - bless that child.

Su-Bo. Yeah as I predicted, The Boyle and Diversity will sail through. Mark my words. :w00t:

Thus far it's going to be Diversity and THE BOYLE. Which wasn't totally unexpected. So many underperformers tonight though. :( Sue Son was better in her audition too. :(

 I'm getting my vom-bucket ready for this. It's like a carcrash, I don't want to watch it but I will. Brilliant choice of song though. It's already vile. :puke2:

Diversity were brilliant. Darth was $h!te as predicted. Ahhh the little girl wasn't very good. :( Belly Dancer - SNORE.
  10. As most of you will know we decided to cut quite a few of our AF's not too long ago. We realise that more of them are underperforming and need to be axed. So this is a bit of notice really, one of the criticisms of us doing it last time was that people did not have any notice to try and improve the performance of their forums and felt if they had a bit more notice they could have done something to save them. So this is your notice. MORE WILL GO. Thanks. :P Update: Management have agreed on the 10 below which will be archived in the next few days (depending on when Matt / Phil have spare time!)... 1. Spice Girls 2. Libertines 3. Timbaland 4. Oasis 5. Natasha Bedingfield 6. Jamelia 7. Jennifer Lopez 8. Celine Dion 9. Delta Goodrem 10. Maroon 5

Apologies I said Kelly Clarkson and meant Ruben Studdard so I have corrected that in your post. :P Clay WAS a Top2 finalist in Season 2 though... So what if he wasn't really "out" has Adam Lambert actually admitted to the world in some kind of interview that he is gay? I believe not, hence, it's the same thing. :P

Agreed! Plus I said the whole arrogance thing about 3 pages back. -_- Long live our new Idol! :w00t: By the way just to point out Melinda Dolittle? WHAT? No way. That article is so riddled with bitter hatred that he didn't win it's unbelieveable. Is it too hard to just let it go and say "the best guy won"? That whole article is just so bitter I could cringe. Oh and by the way, did nobody else think OMG FIX!!?!?! when Ruben Studdard beat the GAY Clay Aiken?
  15. Last night, Chairman & CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid hosted and presented the Island Def Jam's Spring Collection where he unveiled the new and upcoming work from IDJ's stable of artists. The event took place at the Stephen Weiss Studio in New York and was attended by industry people, music reviewers and Def Jam artists. A Mariah song, reportedly titled "Hate U" was played at the event! Shirea L. Carroll from Vibe Magazine live blogged during the event and said, "This is a WBLS hit for sure..." It is not known if "Hate U" will be the lead single off Mariah's new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. More details to come as they become available. Stay tuned! OOOOF. :o
  16. Interesting! :o Definitely her, definitely not old = definitely new! :o Sounded alright... Really pleased with the news, I was expecting it to be her being up the duff. Thrilled it's not in my own selfish fangirl way. :kink: Quite like the album title, it's different and not an equation so it's all good. :heehee: Now we need some good ol' LEAKS! A release date, few more tidbits and i'll officially be excited. :P

I don't really think it's fair to say Kris ONLY won because he's straight. That's quite narrow minded, you may as well just say all Americans are homophobic while you're there eh? It's the same as the X-Factor in 2007. Rhydian was far more talented but somehow lost to Leon Jackson. Personally I don't like Adam and i'm pleased Kris won, but I don't think it's impossible to say that the above that happened with Leon / Rhydian couldn't have happened here.

She just updated her Twitter to say she's in the studio with TIMBALAND! :o Working on a S.G.S.H.W (stone groove smash hit wonder) :heehee:

LOVED IT! Juliet. She is my favourite character by a country mile. The scene with Juliet, Kate and Sawyer was one the most moving scene I have ever witnessed in Lost. I was completely taken in by it all, I actually cried like a baby when she let go. The only thing I care about in Season 6 is Juliet still being alive. Screw Locke, Jacob, Ben - the lot of them! Juliet is where it's at. :funky: I PRAY she's alive, can anyone tell me if she is present in the next Season? :(

Thanks! :D Had it on repeat now for about 4 plays and it's growing immensely! :D I hope for a real apocalyptic type video. ^_^ I have a feeling it's going to be very No Air though. :arrr: Her in normal clothes crying in a room or something. GAH.
  21. I think Smash Into You / Sweet Dreams would work much better for a few reasons. Ego is a bonus track, is it not? The fact it was left as a bonus inclines it should be left as just that. Plus this kind of keeps with "theme" of one uptempo, one ballad. Plus I think it would be better because Sweet Dreams isn't quite as Urban-ish in the same vein that Single Ladies and Diva were, I think it has the potential to appeal to a much wider spectrum of people. Also, I think Smash Into You is a bit more vulnerable and subtle than the previous 2 ballads released, plus it's catchy. :teresa:

Well unfortunately Ethe I haven't really had much time to listen to it yet because i've been at my Mothers for the past few days as she ill and I won't download it because I can't put it on my iPod without my laptop which is at home. It sounds really promising from what I heard, and i'm pretty positive I will be ranting and raving about it after a few listens. I'm that predictable and I know it.

Exactly! Tedder production normally = SMASH. Bleeding Love, Halo, Already Gone etc. are among some of my favourite songs of the last few years. It's certainly not to her detriment.
  24. Yeah I know what you mean, as in she could have stood there, not moved at all, or attempt miming and you would have loved it anyway.
  25. Gah, I would have liked Smash Into You. Fabulous song!
