Plus, they do awards for best cinematography and video-stuff, which surely she should win SOMETHING for. Disturbia obviously, Take A Bow was just a bit dirge-a-licious in terms of the video.

Indeed. :( They will indeed sell the least, I see quite the bomb (apologies before i'm eaten by the Saturdayers...) coming for the album which is very unfortunate, but hey at least they got to release one. :lol: I'm impressed to say the very least though. ^_^

I like the fact that the proceeds go to charity but the whole thing is proposterous and sounds hideous. Much like the Pop Idol finalists doing Happy Christmas a few years back. It's not even just because it's a Mariah song (being one of the few people that liked Leon's version of When You Believe...) it's because it's just awful. Hero is actually one of my least favourite Mariah songs, but I still recognise it as a classic and arguably her signature track. Still, this version is cringeworthy of the highest order. Plus I don't really think Hero works anymore, it's too dated nowadays and should be remembered for how it was and the time it came from - 1993 when Mariah sang it. -_- All in all - disgusting. Girls Aloud back at #1 or someone new PUH-LEEZE. That will be all.

The album's not THAT bad. :blink: I do adore She's Like A Star though. I'm well aware it's the Taio Cruz track just tagged on as a bonus, but I do love it. :lol:

Well i've got 3 albums that i've listened to today by groups that I really like, being Girls Aloud, Sugababes and The Pussycat Dolls and it's safe to say I am a bit underwhelmed by all of them. But I would rank them like this - 1. Doll Domination 2. Sugababes (JUST) 3. Girls Aloud Then I thought I would listen to Chasing Lights because i've had it downloaded for a while but am yet to listen to it and I think it beats the other 3 into the ground. :o SUBLIME pop album. :heart:

I don't think it's possible at all for Britney to ignore Blackout. Although, keeping in mind how much she'll have to fit in to a tour considering all the hits she's had, plus a large quantity of the Circus album tracks she won't be able to include many! I guarantee you'll get Piece Of Me, maybe Gimme More but nothing more I wouldn't imagine. Not because of the "bad memories" or whatever, but just because the setlist will be absolutely packed already.

Hmmm flogging a dead horse much? I Stay In Love will make zero impact and okay fair play seeing her perform on the X-Factor will no doubt make it hit the Top40 or even Top20 if we're lucky. What is Mariah and/or her management expecting? One "golden" performance on the X-Factor and the album will start to sell like hot cakes and she'll have another #1 single? Not an ice cube in hells chance. From a fans point of view - EXCELLENT. I would love to see her perform on the X-Factor, provided she sings live. Which I imagine she will, although the big notes in the latter part of the song will no doubt be mimed or at least pre-recorded. From a business point of view - Cowell is obviously going to win from inviting a legend like Mariah onto his show, seeing as I can't remember anyone that was anywhere NEAR as famous as Mariah on the X-Factor, I do believe her to be the biggest artist they've had on the show. But I see this having no impact on the welfare of Mariah's career whatsoever. Oh and plus I think it's still a rumour... Speaking of I Stay In Love, doesn't the video premiere today?

Yeah, Leona's X-Factor performance isn't until 2 weeks after Forgive Me is released physically so she will definitely peak before then. ;) It's being used to promote the re-release of the album (on the following Monday) as opposed to the single. ^_^

Yeah I think there's much better choices on the album still waiting to be released. Plus - another cover? No thank you...

Sinitta is indeed a dirty hasbeen that needs to learn how to dress and remember that she is 40+ the next time she leaves the house wearing some kind of cropped binbag as an outfit. I believe you to be crazy. The Way I Are, Scream, Hero and Superhuman are SUBLIME. Energy is great too but I think the aforementioned features were better tracks. I have Return The Favor downloaded but have yet to listen, maybe now is the right time. ^_^

...Or, Misses Glass. They could play this one of two ways. They could be trying to show Leona's diversity and show that she can do more than ballads (and thus perform either Forgive Me or Misses Glass) or they could play it safe by knowing that the UK loves Leona's ballads (evidently) and give us a live performance of Run. I would love any of the above to be honest, Forgive Me on the first show and Run on the results show would be sublime however. :kink: Take note Cowell! :P
