The album was at #45 in yesterdays midweeks and #43 in todays midweeks so it looks like Bye Bye has JUST started taking effect. :D

Well this isn't true. The direct interview they had with OK! USA stated that they bothed wanted kids ASAP.

It's jumped back up to #27 this week. ^_^ Not sure whether that's because of the video, or Ellen, or the wedding, or airplay to be honest... Added at 12:45am. New at 129 in the UK midweeks. Considering airplay is zilch and the video is only available on a few channels i'm rather chuffed with that. ^_^

Well according to MariahDaily she confirmed Love Story on Ellen, but i've watched Ellen and there was basically nothing said about the album, or single, or even Bye Bye. :|

Apparently Mariah appeared on Ellen today and CONFIRMED that Love Story will be the third single. :( At the minute it's actually by far my favourite on the album but no way this should be a single. I guess we're entering "loved up" mode...

Oh dear. If you read the interview both of them confirm that they want to have kids pretty sharpish. :( They ask if they've thought about kids and Mariah says "Yes" and Nick says "Absolutely". b**ch had better keep her lugs shut until this album is finished. :arrr:

I can't see ANY of them making solo music again aside from Melanie C. Although I would be very interested in hearing Victoria's, I loved the debut and I think given the right producers she could make a cracking album. Of course it wouldn't be successful but I think I would enjoy it. It's weird, with Geri, Emma and Mel B I only seem interested in their singles. I buy their albums but have never listened to any of them aside from the Free Me album which was alright. I like Melanie C as a solo artist and the same goes for Victoria and would be interested in albums by both. :P

Excellent choice. Although I sense another horrid animated video. I know the fans generally like it but I honestly think if she had done a proper video for BTI it would have been a MUCH bigger hit. I know she wasn't in the right frame of mind then etc, etc. Just making a point. :P Still surely now that she's seemingly getting better and doing that TV show and looking good again everywhere she goes she COULD actually do a proper video now?

Oooh thanks! :D Well, it's a lot better than I expected. She looks VERY Charmbracelet when she's sitting with the pen and stuff, love the touching bits towards the end with her Dad, Luther, Pavarotti etc. So yeah a lot less of a letdown than I was expecting and to be honest with a song like Bye Bye there wasn't really many routes she could go down. All in all I like the video but I would have preferred less of her on her promotional tour and more emotional bits. :heart:

Yeah I did, I told you a while ago I loved 4 Minutes and actually preferred it to TMB, did I not? :P My fifth Madonna album purchase if you must know. ^_^ Oh and as a sidenote I prefer this album to Confessions, still I suppose R&B is a lot more of my thing than dance so it was to be expected. ^_^

I actually agree with this. Out of all of the singles she's released during this era I think it's my least favourite. Absolutely adoring WTG? at the moment. :heart: It's weird for me because I remember hearing WEH and thinking "it's an alright pop song but I can guarantee this will be the only song of hers i'll ever remotely like" and then I bought the album inbetween Handle Me and Be Mine and I think it's amazing. Contemplating looking into her earlier stuff too. Great track! Anyone know how her album has performed in the UK? Sales and such?

Well i've listened to some of the album now (finally!) and at first I didn't like Give It 2 Me, but after I heard it out clubbing (a bit remixed I think?) I now quite like it, a bit repetitive but I like it. The Beat Goes On is fantastic, it MUST be a single. I expected to be blown away by Miles Away but i'm not too taken with it at the moment, although it'll probably grow. Haven't got through the full album yet but have listened to the ones people seem to have talked the most about. ^_^
