"E=MC²" [UK #3, US #1]
I think Side Effects sounds HOT. From the clips I actually prefer I Stay In Love to Bye Bye but i'll hear the tracks in full before I make any assumptions. :P

Touch My Body [UK #5, US #1]
Still at #7 in the midweeks, 400 copies behind Leona and about 1.5k behind Duffy... come on take Leona at least! :arrr: Still she has a canny lead over Madonna so it looks like we're safe at #7. Saying that Madonna's video is premiered tomorrow which will increase her downloads, so who knows? Top10 for definite anyway. :lol:

WWE 24/7
Thanks for that Scotty! :D On the Smackdown spoilers it's revealed that at Backlash there will be rematches for the World Title (Taker Vs. Edge) and the ECW Title (Chavo Vs. Kane) which was a little boring and predictable but hey whatever. I watched the new Triple H DVD on YouTube last night and was a bit disappointed, it had a really good array of matches, but not really KEY matches as such that highlighted the turn of his career and plus it only goes up to April 2006... considering the DVD was only released last week you would think they would have included SOMETHING from the past 2 years. :manson: I wanted a bit more commentary from Triple H too, he only gave a very brief outline of his career which was disappointing. Saved myself £20 though. :magic:

Because i'm sick of people slating Mariah for the SOLE purpose that she knocked off Leona, it's pathetic. Everybody knows Leona is definitely one of my favourite artists but slagging off other people because they're doing better is absurd. Some fans seem to be turning into another set of psychotic fans i'm all too familiar with... -_- There's a difference between disliking a song and saying that (as you did), and slagging off Mariah and her music in most posts, which some others have done... As for the whole thing about the album, come on it's true. I hope Spirit does get to #1 in the US, but I can't see Leona managing to fend off Mariah's first week sales. This way i'm happy - both of my favourite artists are getting their turn at the top. I'm pleased Leona was #1, but I wanted Mariah to get her 18th #1 as well, so it's worked out for the best, they both get a turn. :P Same goes for the albums, I want Spirit to be #1, but I also want E=MC² to be #1 as well, so I do hope they both get their turn. ^_^

Forgive Me Vs. Misses Glass
Well from the clips I preferred Misses Glass, but now that we have the full tracks I prefer Forgive Me. ^_^

Discipline era [chart topic]
Ouch, not too great... I don't think L.A. Reid will give up on her though, he was adimant in interviews that he will stick by her because he believes in talent always winning through in the end.

Touch My Body [UK #5, US #1]
I just got my copy. ^_^ Personally I never expected it to hit #1, when I first heard it I thought it would go Top20 in both the US and UK at best. Now it's #7 in the UK midweeks and #1 in the US. Potentially I think Mariah could have at least another 2 #1's off this album. The ballads are where she scores big and with a guaranteed ballad up next I wouldn't rule it out. Plus Migrate will be HUGE in the US should they choose to release it as the third single. So I really wouldn't rule out anymore #1's from this project. I would like to think it's pretty much guaranteed that E=MC² will hit #1 when it's released in 2 weeks also, not sure how it will sell in it's first week but I hope for somewhere around 350k, keeping in mind that Mimi sold 410k in it's first week when it was released pretty much at the same time in 2005, I know sales have decreased since then but the single just shows that demand is definitely there. So we'll see... I think everything about the project thus far has been spot on, in terms of what IDJ have done to promote Mariah. Let the single build up steam on it's own on airplay, throw out the video a few weeks later, do a few high profile appearances (with many more to come around the albums release), premiere a few new tracks along the way to build anticipation for the album and ride the wave, which is working superbly so far. Oh and also there was a HUGE poster of the album cover on the wall behind the cash desk at HMV, which read "The album is coming... 14/04/08" which I thought was pretty cool. ^_^

Well that "awful Mariah song" managed to dethrone Leona. And if Spirit does indeed top the album charts next week then Mariah will dethrone her again the week after when her album is released.

Leona to do US No.1 double?
Airplay is dying down yes but Mariah just broke the record for the biggest first week digital download sales. Thus, achieving her 18th #1 on the Hot100. :w00t:

Touch My Body [UK #5, US #1]
Some more information about TMB: • This week marks 78 cumulative weeks for Mariah at the #1 spot on the Hot 100. She is only 2 weeks behind Elvis Presley who holds the all-time record! • As a songwriter, Mariah breaks the tie with Barry Gibb and takes the 3rd place for songwriters with most #1 hits. Only Paul McCartney with 32 and John Lennon with 26 have more. • With 286,000 downloads, "Touch My Body" breaks the record for the first-week sales of a digital single! Not only is it Mariah's best single-week digital tally, it also breaks Mariah's previous first-week sales of a single ("Heartbreaker" debuted in 1999 with 271,000 copies sold.) • "Touch My Body" debuted on the Hot 100 in the Billboard Issue of March 1, 2008. This is its 7th week on the Hot 100 chart and here is the chart run for the song so far: 57-34-24-16-14-15-01 • "Touch My Body" was first premiered on American radio on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. In about 6 hours, the song was played approximately 500 times in different radio stations across the US. It also had the biggest first week airplay since Mariah's "I'll Be There" in 1992. The song quickly exploded in all four major radio formats (Top 40 Mainstream, Rhythmic/Crossover, Urban, Adult R&B) and after only five weeks, it entered the top 10 in each format and reached #4 on the Hot 100 Airplay. • The fun music video, directed by Brett Ratner, premiered on BET/MTV/VH1 on February 27 and quickly became the most viewed video on YouTube, Yahoo and AOL Music as well as the highest ranked video on the TRL and 106 & Park countdowns.

Touch My Body [UK #5, US #1]
Up to #7 in todays midweeks! :D Mariah has now overtaken Justin Feat. Madge who is over 1,000 copies behind now, Leona is less than 300 copies ahead at 6 and Duffy is 1,400 copies ahead at 5. I think Mariah can take Leona but I think Duffy is a bit far out of reach...

I Can't Stop This Feeling I've Gotâ„¢
We? :o You and who's army? :P Meh just everything really, work and shizzo. Nothing too interesting, i'm up FAR too late and this is going to screw me up tomorrow. :( I blame Mariah Carey. I was all set to go to bed and then on a fansite it said one of her top new album tracks was going to premiere on US radio within the hour, so I clicked to listen to the radio show and it JUST started playing as I pressed listen. :o What luck. :teresa: So of course I was excited enough after that, then I decided to wait for one of the many illegal people the internet hosts to rip it and put it online which I now have. :heehee: No doubt it'll be on repeat for some days. :drama: Anyway i'm rambling incoherently. :( What has one been up to? :o We shall catch up properly tomorrow at some point, because I really do need to go to bed now. Just thought I would catch you before I left. :P Like I said you weren't picking up on my "ever so subtle" hints so I just thought I would aim myself at the Razorlight Forum which you were sure to see. :P Nighties. :heart:

"E=MC²" [UK #3, US #1]
The last 30 seconds or so are just TOTALLY HOT. Anyway firstly I need to calm down, secondly Rap Up previewed the album and contrary to most reports said that I Stay In Love is the WBT of this album. :o Quite alone on that opinion based on reviews... still we'll see when we get the album. Less than 2 weeks now. :w00t:

"E=MC²" [UK #3, US #1]
Oh my God WHAT LUCK. I just flicked on MariahDaily and it said that the HQ of Migrate was going to be premiered on B96 within the hour, so I clicked to listen live at the exact time it started. :o Sounds HOT, although most of it is vocodered. :arrr: Not finished yet. :dance:

PREDICT: Will.i.am ft. Cheryl (GIRLS ALOUD) - Heartbreaker
Top20 at absolute best and I think even that is a longshot. Terrible.
