What are they DOING? It has to be either White Horse or You're Not Sorry. I love every track on the album but the 2 mentioned would do the most for the album. How much has it sold up until now?
  2. Are we glossing over the fact that this has yet AGAIN been pushed back 2 weeks? End of September now. First it was my anniversary present, then my birthday present and now it's just my plain old end of September present. GAH! This isn't looking good, but at least she's avoiding Jay-Z now, maybe a shot at #1 afterall? Gutted she ditched the VMA's though, as somebody else rightfully said, it wouldn't have coincided with the album but come on it's the VMA's! It's not as if it happens every other week, she needed the promotion if nothing more than to boost Obsessed. :(

Isn't it losing spins on other formats though? I was looking at the chartings on Billboard and she's definitely losing spins somewhere. :(
  4. Yes, and judging by the singles we've heard thus far I wouldn't say it's urban at all...
  5. Love the clips! I think Nothin' But Love and Calling You Tonight are definitely front-runners for future singles based on the clips...

I really loved the track "Blow" from the Because I Love It mixtape, it didn't actually end up making it onto the album but it was a bloody good track. I definitely think it could have been a single, really fiery, passionate, she sang with conviction and rather catchy too. ^_^

I do hope so. ^_^ Much better than that Dizzee Rascal tripe...
  9. See above really... None of the singles released (6 I count, worldwide anyway!) did anything for the album and I think it'd be quite naive to expect the 7th single to finally ignite interest...
  10. M$B! :D YouTube is the way forward, links on usual websites...

Good idea! I think a Mariah "boxed" could do well. ^_^
  12. SO EXCITED FOR THIS! I Wanna Know What Love Is is clearly the standout for everybody though... Change of 2nd single perhaps?
  13. I can't actually believe that Mariah is leading (by a margin at that!), everytime Mariah is polled against anybody she's usually last by a country mile.
  14. Indeed, every listening party held has came back with glowing reviews for every track, especially I Wanna Know What Love Is, and this one is basically saying the whole thing is $h!te? If more reviews like this come out of the woodwork i'll start to take it seriously, but one bad review from THE SUN (!?!?!) is not going to dampen my excitement for now.
  15. YOU MUST DO 10 HAIL MARIAH'S TO BE FORGIVEN FOR YOUR SINS. THX.

It's at #13 on iTunes and has been for the 14 hours or so... I don't think it's gonna get much higher. :( More airplay please! Make it Top10 at least!

Leona Lewis on the X-Factor finale, brilliant!
  18. Well, I Look To You (unsurprisingly...) is tanking on iTunes, after like 3 days it's down to #77. Let's hope with a decent video and all the promotion she's got lined up she can make Million Dollar Bill a smash! It's SO old school, but I do love it. ^_^

Hmmm, not sure how well that tactic will work Jack! She needs to get a hell of a lot more airplay... Still there's time for that! How is that cover version on iTunes doing?
  20. Obsessed > Million Dollar Bill > Celebration > She Wolf. We don't like Madonna and this sounds like some kind of generic b-side leftover from Confessions. I saw Shakira's video and heard the track properly earlier and I seriously thought it was some kind of sick joke. It sounded like the theme tune to some childrens fantasy TV show, still, Shakira is another one I don't particularly like, the goat woman is back. :(
  21. I'm really not struck on Girls Can't Catch. I saw them on the Girls Aloud tour and they were alright, I wasn't exactly bowled over by them though. They seem to have a personality problem, in that I don't seem to see one in any of them.

I ADORE McPhee. I actually thought her album was pretty solid overall... Over It, Love Story, Dangerous, Open Toes, Everywhere I Go were sublime to name a few.
  23. LOVE IT! :D
  24. Sounds good! Very old school, reminds me of early Michael Jackson to be honest... Can't wait to hear it in full! :D
