It's awful in more of the obvious ways, but there's something charming about it at the same time... Regardless, as everybody else has said, I reckon it'll be a hit though. ^_^

I just watched this but had the same kind of reaction as everybody else. At first I was like "dear Lord her voice is shot and she's singing completely live... Dreading the end notes!" but then as they came she seemed to pull them off a lot better than I thought she would. I see Mariah's voice is not the only one that has weathered over the years Mr. Trey Lorenz... I do think she was emotional though, come on you would be if you had Michael Jacksons body in a coffin just a few feet away from you! I'm semi-pleased with how it went.

It was released yesterday (not sure of the time!) but the official release date was announced as today...

In about 45 minutes it jumped from #22 to #15. :o Maybe the fans have realised it's out now and that's the excuse for the rapid climb? Either way, come on Mariah! Take it to the top! :w00t:

28. Mariah Carey - Obsessed :D Now that it's the official release date (I guess) iTunes have decided to add a promotional graphic to their homepage which will undoubtedly help. :P

It's not even some fan excuse that it's not rising quickly, the release date was officially announced as being tomorrow (well today now I guess...) so hopefully by this time tomorrow we'll see her Top20 or even Top10/5 if i'm lucky. :heehee: Come on Mariah SMASH IT UP!!!

Well Mariah is yet to debut on the Hot100 but is #13 on Bubbling Under (I think) so she could break it. :kink: Keeping in mind that Mariah broke the previous record with her first week sales of Touch My Body, which has been broken a million times since but hey ho. :heehee:

Yeah but when you think that this week BEP's only sold 200k in downloads (which is going to be even less again next week), in the first week Touch My Body sold almost 300k, and if we see a similar sales figure it could be enough to push her right up there. :o Although Michael Jacksons funeral could be enough to push him back to the top, who knows!? I'll be keen to find out though. :D
