I bet you they'd have gone ahead with it had the show still been the powerhouse it was last year... That said, I don't think a spin-off is a good idea. Be interesting to see how they handle the graduation of characters though. It'd be ridiculous to not have them go to college, so I can imagine the show will become either mroe cluttered than it already is or the hyperbole is justifiable.

He was dull as dishwater on the show and I don't think ruining a cover of a brilliant rock track will do him any favours. Coupled with the fact Gary Barlow is on board! (Did they learn nothing from Cardlegate?) I do wonder with SyCo sometimes. They can get it so right (Olly Murs for instance) and then so terribly bad ('Elephant' and this...).

'Jar of Hearts' needs to go away now. Can't believe she's still performing it 9 months later. Even more baffling is the fact she keeps getting performance slots! And *CRINGE* at that Alyssa monstrosity. Please let 'Titanium' keep it off the top. It's awful.

Cover Drive? Surprising #1 but it's a dreadful song :( I don't think Lana Del Rey will get a top 5 hit from her album. She's evidently going to be one of those artists that sells a lot of albums and consistently sells her songs on downloads without them reaching a high peak (a larger version of Mumford & Sons on a singles scale or some such).

Proper geek moment for me in the last episode. Even though I hate the VD books, a lot of fans have wanted the character of . Klaus does bore me to tears now though. He's not even good to look at it when he looks all washed up and crazy :(

I shocked myself and voted for Coldplay. Would've been FloMac but the album was really underwhelming, whilst Coldplay have produced their best work since Album 2.

Ed Sheeran is amazing. I hope he lasts a very long time. Also would've liked to have voted for Will Young for another solid album. Olly Murs and Bruno are decent also.

I can honestly see The CW getting rid of loads of their shows next year. It seems it's their last chance to try and turn things around before being sent to the firey abyss of hell. They have some wicked adolescent novels in the making that are much darker and grittier than TVD/SC combination as well as a lot of other interesting ideas. I really hope it pays off for them because even though most of what they air is shit, they have delivered some of my favourite shows in VD/Supernatural that would've had no chance on the other nets.

I did ponder about the finalists performing with their mentors. I mean all three have a back catalogue of hits, though when I contemplated it, it did strike me as the perfect car crash to end such a wreckage of a series :heehee: I'm guessing that 1D and JLS wouldn't work as duet partners, Coldplay probably only agreed to perform based on the cheque and the fact that they wouldn't be reduced to such disgraceful antics and Westlife and Buble have been tried and tested (and awfully dull). I still think the finalist should sing one of their mentor's songs WITH their mentor. Though I can't imagine any N Dubz song being suitable for LM. :heehee:

Amelia Lily has as much chance of winning than Leon Jackson has of having another #1 record :smoke: I want Little Mix to win. The least offensive out of the three and could actually be interesting post-competition.

I'm torn between wanting Marcus and Amelia Lily gone. The former for being bland as hell (his recording voice on the charity song and M&S advert is HORRIBLE) and the latter for being undeserving of being there in the first place. Hmmmmm.
