I love this show! I was unsure for a little while, but even though there's still the story within a story feature each week, there's a larger plot finally starting to formulate. I am so excited to see where they take it in the finale and next season. It's pulled ahead of Grimm for me now :D
  2. I'm beyond annoyed now. For starters - 8 singles?! And obviously this song is just awful. The standard of the three added tracks is FAR below the actual album and even below much of the material on OOTB. :/ I'm also really concerned about album #3 (IF it ever sees the light of day).
  3. Can't believe Emeli, Titanium and Flo Rida are STILL top 10. I take back anything negative I said about CRJ a week or so ago. That song is damn infectious :(
  4. It's physical release came a week later I think and it was held off by 8000 copies. I was PISSED at the time. Especially because of the trash that beat it <_<
  5. She sounds different... I'm not keen from the clip :( I want to love it because the woman is GODLY but not yet.
  6. We all thought that after 'Folklore' flopped (well I did anyway) and then she came back with 'Maneater' and BAM! I do agree the massive gap has done her more harm than good but the GH released off the back of no new album and just thrown out there with minimal promotion and a hideous single to support it probably didn't help either. It could go either way I guess. All depends on the material and how its promoted.
  7. It'd be brilliant if Gotye went back to #1 next week  Has there ever been a song return to the top spot twice in its initial run? I'm sure there probably is back in the 1950s/1960s but none I can think of since then.

Awful. At this point I'm thinking #1, but it won't sell that much in the longrun. I'd love Fun. to be released early to combat a shitty karaoke version and snatch it from her though :kink:
  9. Geri Halliwell is as mad as a box of frogs. Personality - YES. Talent - NO. Her music was hideous and that's coming from a big gay like me. I'm not that fussed on any of the contenders for her crown either. I do think Alexandra Burke could do it though. She's the only one releasing material atm. I think if she releases a decent record to lead her album, she could easily scrape a 'one-week' #1.
  10. Barb is like the Janice of CT. She shows up randomly and just in the right amounts to make me not dislike her and to make me wet myself :kink:

Can't see it breaking 100k or selling less than 75k so somewhere in that range ^_^ She's heading for one of her poorest selling albums though. If not the poorest of her career...
  12. Seth Lakeman has a new album out 2nd April :D http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tales-From-The-Bar...9389&sr=8-1

S Club 7 were always better than Steps. I really think people underestimate them a lot. They were massive in 2000/2001 and actually showed a mature sound to their music and progression through their albums, whereas Steps churned out the same stuff for 5 years. I have nothing against Steps as I loved them too, but SC7 defined my childhood :kink: I also agree that they had solid album tracks. The whole of the 'Sunshine' and 'Seeing Double' albums are fairly consistent, when compared to their earlier cheese-fest stuff.
  14. One Direction have sold 550,000ish of their album according to the YTD albums thread. Not amazing, but definitely a good result considering the state the albums market is in atm. Not that I'm an uber fan but they are a niche pop act, who traditionally don't sell albums that well anyway.
  15. Sean Paul's first top 5 hit since 2005. Bizarre. I think it'll be #3 though by the end of the week. JLS #4 and Labrinth and Nicki fighting for #5.
  16. Dear God, I hope not.
  17. WUIV is hilarious I agree. The scene where she steals food from the abandoned tray outside her room  Katy does have fantastic facial expressions which really helps in videos I think. As for 'Teenage Dream', I didn't like the video half as much as the song. Sadly, I think TD has become the forgotten song of the era. I'm happy 'Part of Me' is set to be #1 but it's also bit disappointing as it's her poorest single yet (bar the 3Oh!3 and Timbaland) collaborations.
  18. I have just started to love Cougar Town. If only it were on NBC :heehee:
  19. I think it'd work perfectly with the song. If you think about the lyrics, relationships can often be described as a battleground - before, during and after.
  20. I sadly predict next week JLS for #1. Their fans and the charity aspect make it a certainty :( The week after I expect them to be like #6 behind the other four and Plan B :heehee: 01 JLS 02 Katy Perry 03 Gotye 04 Minaj/Labrinth 05 Minaj/Labrinth
  21. 'Unforgettable' is dead. Even if it wasn't a damn awful show, a 2.0 on CBS is just asking to be canned. They set their standards FAR higher than the other 4 networks and always find themselves in the situation of having to cancel something even if everything is performing decently. I'm interested to see what they do with their comedies then. Only 1 free spot so far providing TAAHM is back.
  22. Perry Vs Labrinth Vs JLS next week then? :o

I'd happily wish Alexandra success with a DECENT song as her first album was really solid.
  24. Me and my housemate love the trash this show produces. I really don't want to watch this one though. Alisha made me so damn angry on BNTM. I hated the girl. Was so happy when she lost.

This has FLOP written all over it. Or maybe I'm just being optimistic.
