I meant the publicity she is getting from being on the show, regardless of whether it's performed or mentioned. The song is absolutely naff and such a rip-off of many other songs, I doubt it'd be doing half as well if she wasn't in front of 10 million+ people every week. I have loved a lot of her material in the past - just think DFW is lazy and dreadful to listen to.

I bet Kelly Rowland wouldn't even be within sniffing distance of the top 100 without The X Factor. Horrible song.

Amelia should leave. I know you shouldn't take these things seriously but I think it's disgusting that she can re-enter so late and have a shot at winning. Don't really care for any of the others bar Little Mix, but it's an insult to them after having worked so hard and survived elimination every week.

I'm thinking maybe Cowell foresaw a drop in popularity for the show and decided to release a week earlier to guarantee there would be no repeat of the end of 2009. I mean he only had to look at the blandness of this year's contestants to come to that conclusion. Nirvana for XMAS #1 and to sell a million! B)

I hate 'Sexy & I Know It'. Just awful :( I'd rather listen to One Direction's latest... And I always compare 'Tik Tok' to 'Hot N Cold' personally. Two hugely massive and popular mainstream tracks that missed the top 3 in the UK but ended up bouncing up and down the top 10 and going platinum(ish).

Cougar Town had worse retention from Modern Family than Happy Endings does at the moment last season. So definitely not better than The Middle. Still I really like the show and the only rumours about it are that ABC are considering pairing it with that hideous Tim Allen creation in March :(

I just pretend the series ended with 'Eclipse'. Mainly because I can now see all the flaws with the book series and they shock me and also because the last book reads like it was written by a 12 year old fan girl. Shan't be seeing this film as I feel they've just got progressively worse. The first one was great.

Rihanna should do her next single. I don't think WFL needs anymore exposure. It's evidently going to be a million seller for here by this time next year... I'd love her to appear with Coldplay on TXF final or something though I doubt Coldplay would ever reduce themselves to such a thing...

I think Hits has hit the nail on the head perfectly. It was a fairly normal, average, boring series until reports surfaced they'd bled two million viewers and were being beaten by Strictly Come Dancing and Cowell was determined to regain his crown. And since then? Bullying accusations, judges with 'throat infections', Frankiegate, supposed racism... Cowell really should just scrap the music industry and make a living out of writing pantomines.

Looks frickin epic from that trailer. I must admit the fairy tale revival at the minute seems a little extreme and I wasn't planning on seeing this, merely because I can't handle the mess that is K Stew trying to act. I notice she gets no lines in that trailer. :heehee: Still I think I will check this out. Charlize is FABULOUS.

I may need to check this out again. I didn't get through the pilot. I don't know why. The story seemed good but the characters were so unlikeable. It's a shame as I was really looking forward to it but it didn't meet my expectations :(

She's a massive disappointment imo. I know a lot of people think she's amazing, but I've always found her to be bland and incapable of maintaining a successful career after the initial 1-2 albums. Other than the odd couple of songs that are decent - there's just nothing about her that impresses me at all.

I find him attractive too... Him and Rupert Grint in one room is like some absurd heaven... That said - the album is fantastic. Can't really fault any of the tracks tbh though 'You Need Me...' is definitely the weakest. 'Drunk' and 'Lego House' are favourites.

'Firework' by Katy Perry is on about 780k now. I think it will eventually.

JLS in decent song shocker :o Pixie Lott's new one is an abomination though. I find her passable at the best of times, but this takes atrocious to a whole new level. The idea of a Gaga week amuses me. Judging the crop of contestants they have this year, I just can't see any of them being able to pull off a Gaga song decently :lol: (except perhaps Kitty but she can't do EOG AGAIN surely?) x Will we get Just Dance the ballad version from Craig? Irish wailer Janet and her rendition of Alejandro? And you just know that if Frankie survives he will rattle off Bad Romance whilst on some cocaine binge. HILARITY it will be.
