I think it's silly to think that Will Young will be any lower than #3. He will only need 40k (probably less) for #1 so I would be VERY shocked if he doesn't make it. I think people underestimate him because he's not much of a single seller anymore.
Joe is an interesting one. Whilst I liked his last album, I have no interest in him anymore if this is the route he's taking. Considering it's covers and the recent exposure, the grannies could push it to low top 10 considering sales are so shite.

It says a lot that Harry Potter himself won't win his own rate :heehee:
I just don't like the character that much at all - in books or films and it's a credit to JKR that she can create so many other fantastic characters that totally overshadow him.
It's the same in the movies. Brilliant actors surrounding the rather average Daniel Radcliffe. Even between the core trio, they were pretty indistinguishable at first, but even Emma Watson was better than him in the later films!

I'd love for Beyoncé to climb into the top ten again, and possibly squeeze another week in the official top ten this week! I'm glad it didn't bomb though, like 'Last Friday Night' seems to be doing (although the songs are in different situations obviously). Also pleased Dev seems to be getting another top fourty hit this week, 'In the Dark' is an absolute choon and deserves at least top twenty (ten, even, when you think that the awful 'Bass Down Low' got there!)
How is LFN bombing? Over 200k+ for a #9 peak is quite decent considering it is a 5th single and it's probably still just outside the iTunes top 20 with all its versions combined.

02 Aragog
09 Sirius Black
08 Lavender Brown - I found her irritating in the books but her bunny boiler role in the film was hilarious
05 Cho Chang - What a boring character!
04 Colin Creevey
03 Vincent Crabbe
02 Barty Crouch
07 Barty Crouch Jr - I think it's the way Tenant portrays him in GoF that makes me rate him highly.
07 Fleur Delacour - She has a lot more ZEST in the books, instead of just looking constipated on screen.
06 Cedric Diggory
06 Dobby - Never got the fuss over Dobby.
05 Aberforth Dumbledore
09 Albus Dumbledore
03 Dudley Dursley
07 Petunia Dursley - I feel really sorry for her. She clearly hates wizards so much because she wasn't allowed to go to Hogwarts. That's no excuse for being a c**t to your sister and her child but still.
-1 Vernon Dursley - Nothing redeemable about him at all.
06 Argus Filch - Annoyed the hell out of me in the book, but again he is like Petunia. His 'run' in GoF was hilarious though.
02 Seamus Finnigan
03 Mundungus Fletcher
06 Filius Flitwick
05 Cornelius Fudge
10 Hermione Granger - She is a fantastic female character. And I grew to like Emma Watson more and more as the films went on. Her love of fixing her 'beady eye' on Harry and Ron constantly in the books was hilarity.
04 Grawp
02 Griphook
01 Gregory Goyle
09 Rubeus Hagrid - There's just something sexy about Hagrid, I can't quite place my fingers on. His love for monsters is rather amusing.
04 Madame Hooch
06 Kreacher
05 Viktor Krum - He may be good looking but he is one hell of a boring character. Evidently just an obstacle for Hermione and Ron
10 Bellatrix Lestrange - LEGEND. Not only does HBC play a blinder in every scene, there is just something about the character that screams 'ORGASM'. She clearly lusts for Voldemort.
06 Gilderoy Lockhart
07 Neville Longbottom - He's not that great...
09 Luna Lovegood - The only character who played the part exactly as I imagined when reading the books.
08 Remus Lupin
04 Draco Malfoy
07 Lucius Malfoy
07 Narcissa Malfoy - Purely for her act of betrayal at the end.
10 Minerva McGonagall - Nearly got the '11'. Just an icon.
06 Alastor ‘Mad Eye’ Moody
09 Moaning Myrtle - She was hilarious in the movies.
06 Nearly Headless Nick
04 Mr Ollivander
02 Peter Pettigrew
02 Poppy Pomfrey
05 James Potter
05 Lily Potter
08 Harry Potter - Not that great really. Radcliffe is a dreadful actor, but the character never grabbed me as much as some of the others, even if the books are told from his perspective.
04 Quirinus Quirrell
02 Rufus Scrimgeour
07 Kingsley Shacklebolt
03 Horace Slughorn - Irritating to the nth.
08 Rita Skeeter
10 Severus Snape - He may be a tragic figure, but he is still rather rotten when you think about it. Brilliance.
01 Dean Thomas
10 Sybill Trelawney
07 Nymphadora Tonks
11 Dolores Umbridge - ICON. She is creepier than Voldemort could ever be. Something about her sickly sweet exterior makes her far more evil than any death eater. Plus Imelda Staunton <33333
08 Lord Voldemort - As far as villains go, he is very deep and well rounded, but I just don't perceive him as a threat half the time.
07 Arthur Weasley
07 Fred Weasley
07 George Weasley
04 Ginny Weasley - I don't think she's as bad as people make out. The actress who plays her is awful though. Personally, she has a lot of potential in the books but is sacrificed purely to be a love interest.
10 Molly Weasley
06 Percy Weasley
10 Ron Weasley - I'm rarely shallow, but GOD, I want the Grint's babies. Add to that the character is FAR more complex than the movies show.
Oliver Wood

Well Charlie as wonderful as Nagini is, it doesnt really offer any characteristics other than being a snake.
I was tempted to include Sprout but she only ever did the one scene in CoS and even that wasn't amazing.
Fair nuffs! I'm gonna rate them according to the books AND films you see.
But still. She IS Aunt Bessie.

I think the last film is my favourite. Goblet and Order would tie for #2 I feel.
Azkaban 4th and then I'm not really sure about the other 4. There wasn't a bad one amongst them but I always preferred the books a lot more.
I just can't seem to let Harry go  :( I'm writing essays on the series and taking a module in Children's Literature this year at uni with the sole intention of studying it heh. It feels like you've lost something you've had in your life since you were about 11 (how old I was when I read the first one - I'm now 23 :(). These characters and the world are some of the best I have ever seen explored in a piece of literature and I study literature daily! Most of the great books/movies/tv series I like have one or two characters that leap out of the page and stay with you after you've finished, but with HP I think what's so amazing is that EVERY character does that.
I also think we should have like a character rate or something to celebrate the end of such an amazing series.

I should think The Wanted at least can be pleased with their sales. They'll have passed 300k by the end of this week. Only their second single to do so. I'd hardly call that 'lucky' because of the quiet charts as of late. They'd have surely fallen a bit faster if they'd been more competition but I doubt the sales would've changed.
JLS are the real LUCKY ones. I'd have expected them to have fallen out of the itunes top 10 by now.

LOVE this song. I loathed him a lot when he first released music (I think that was just because he beat Katy Perry to #1 with a WAY below average song) but even that and the cringe-worthy lyrics of TOM are not so bad anymore. I think it's the summer personally.
This new one is brilliant though. So damn catchy. I'm really surprised he has been so consistent and successful.
