    Why are you interested and suitable to moderating this forum?

     

    Welll I did think moderating loads of forums would be boring and take the fun out of the site but this is something I am quite interested in. I think people need a place on BuzzJack to be able to express their opinions on music/TV etc more openly without having to endure lots of negativity if they don't like whoever's in flavour around the rest of the site. I myself have lots of opinions on music as I'm really passionate about it and think I have the right manner of being able to handle a forum such as this.

     

    What do you feel you would bring to the forum?

     

    Well I have to do lots of reviews and case studies as part of my university degree so I am quite familiar with this concept. I also have my own weekly music chart back from when I was born :D

    I may not be the perfect candidate because I don't ALWAYS toe the line but I do bring a lot of fun and new ideas to forums that I take an interest in.

     

    What experience do you have?

     

    Turning MCR forum from a barren wasteland into an exciting forum to post in. Done the Personal Charts one before as well which is similar to this I guess.

     

    How much time do you spent on BuzzJack per day / week?

     

    Mostly 2-3 hours every evening bar Friday/Saturday -sometimes in the day.

     

    Are you willing/able to post self-written news articles (250 - 350 words per article if something interesting happens) about the singer/band to promote your forum? If you post news already - please provide a link to one story**

    It's like an overkill thing. You can't turn on TV or pick up a paper or talk to anyone without her being bought up. Her and her music aren't even that special imo. Just gets annoying.

    I just think you believe too much of what you read about Brit :P And to say she cares more about her image than her kids is harsh! Have you seen the youtube vid of Brit and Jamie trying to get something from the shop? The noise generated by the hundreds of endless clicking cameras is frankly scary. The woman gets no peace whatsoever. :(

     

    Nah I don't believe what I read. I just think the woman clearly needs help but she won't get it and I don't need the papers or anyone to tell me that - I can see that. Plus I'm sick of her being arseraped everywhere you go on this forum.

    So really it could go anyway.

    They have two big shows behind them. McFly will have their usual acts and Ms Wacko will have all the press reports from whoever she's shagging and snorting drugs off that week :D

    I was thinking about the Oasis download too but I can't imagine it will be #1 - top 5 MAYBE very slim chance. There's also Freemasons and Backstreet Boys but I can't see them causing much damage...

     

     

    And as for Britney - the song is very good but I am sick of reading about the woman. She has turned herself from one of the most interesting and consistant pop singles of the decade imo into a crazy has been $l*t that seems to think pole dancing and acting like a complete lunatic are the best way to sell a record. It seems to me she cares more about getting her clothes off and having a successful single than her own children and that is just god damn wrong.

     

    So stop talking about her like she's some kind of god because she isn't. Before I have respected her but now I believe she needs proper help instead of making a spectacle of herself.

     

    If anyone should be #1 that week it shoul be Take That or Leona.

    I think there will be a lot of hype and interest around this week's battle though!

     

    I mean she will be launching the single off the back of next Saturday's X Factor. If they put it up for download as soon as that show finishes she will have an amazing chance imo.

     

    Take That have done the right move having the single released the monday after 'Stardust' is released in cinemas and McFly will have their dedicated mob buying 500 copies each anyway.

     

    I really do think Britney will be #1 on downloads next week and not the week the physical comes out. Will be one of the other 3. My opinion obvs.

    I'm just used to pop as being Britney, Dido, All Saints, Sugababes, Aly & AJ, etc. So the Hoosiers for me drift away from that pure pop category and are more indie based.

     

    I agree with you here.

    But I guess we have to realise that these sort of $h!tty bands like Hoosiers/S4G and Orson ARE Pop these days. Pop isn't what it used to be a few years ago :(

     

    I blame Busted + McFly tbh - they changed the idea of pop from boys on stools to boys with guitars and it's just gotten a more indie sound to it with the likes of Kaisers/Killers etc.

     

    I know what I mean even if it sounds like a load of $h!t but that's my take on it anyway.

    And also I have a question

     

     

    I may be being dumb here but why did the company rescue Sylar and save his life?

    I assume it's them that ordered the Shapeshifter to watch over him?

    Considering they tried so hard to keep him imprisoned in the first series it's all really confusing but then he doesn't have his powers anymore it seems :wacko:

     

    I have been watching once a week on TVLinks as I just started watching Series 1 in bulk before it began airing over there!

     

    I think like someone said it has gone right back to square one now. You'd have thought they would have all stayed together or in contact more or something.

     

    Why was Nikki/Jessica missing from the first two episodes? I find her story arc the most interesting tbh. Those twins are a pointless and annoying addition - yet more frickin subtitles.

     

    And I think that Takio Kensei guy is some distance relation of the Petrellis maybe as he has the same power as Claire? But then her new boyfriend can fly also so maybe that's not the case :lol:

     

    I'm sure it will get more interesting when it picks up anywho. ^_^

    Britney + Sugababes will go through to the final 20 of the competition. Timbaland almost made it with him and Britney fighting for the runner up spot throughout whilst I was adding up.

    Well done to Hadouken! and Shiny Toy Guns who actually weren't bottom in everybody's group :lol:
