    TBH I haven't been ESTATIC about any album released this year. Have hardly bought any.

     

    Bedingfield's and Clarkson's were two I was VERY looking forward to but were huge disappointments. Avril's has kinda worn off for me now - not as good as her previous two. MCR's was released last year so won't count?

     

    Mika's was average as was Fall Out Boy's. Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Paramore have released good albums but I'm gonna vote for the underated band of the moment Funeral For A Friend's 'Tales Don't Tell Themselves'.

    Erm I'm not a walking talking Emo definition book :lol:

    But yeh music classed as emo has all the emotional, over the top lyrics and whacky long songtitles - a few examples being:

     

    Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off

    I slept with someone in Fall Out Boy and all I Got was this stupid song written about me

    I think all the bands that repeatedly get dubbed emo sooner or later speak out on what a load of $h!t they think it is tbh. :lol: I have never particulary thought of MCR as emo as their music is a lot harder than th likes of Panic At The Disco and Fall Out Boy who imo ARE emo.

    I loved that Muse song from 2003 - should've been a LOT higher. Probably 2000/2002 is the best year. Kylie robbed of #1 and that Sugababes strong is brilliant.

     

    I remember it was very close between Liberty X and Atomic Kitten in 2002 that week to the point Liberty X were #1 on the Saturday's CD:UK.
