What's Your Favourite Katy Single So Far?
Used to be 'Hot N Cold' and even though all of them are pretty damn fantastic, I didn't think anything would ever edge out that but 'Firework' has. I adore it and everything it stands for. I think it may become her biggest selling UK hit by the end of this year.

Frankmusik 'The Fear Inside' + 'Do It In The AM'
 It just came on iTunes so I thought I'd let you know... I do love this though. He has made some sort of progression in sound and I actually think this works really well. Its definately more in vogue with the current music scene. Love the 80s influence as well. Frankmusik rules <3 Has this already been released and flopped then?

f***in' Perfect ~ Second Single
Think only 'Who Knew' is better than this. It really is f***in Perfect  [No pun intended]. So happy she's going to release it. Radio are bound to get all over it too.

Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
I can't see how this won't be HUGE. It's fantastic and definaterly a grower. Even if the release date is early, I think it'll be one of those slow burners with a low peak but long chart run due to when airplay/videoplay finally kicks in. If they do push it back, I see no reason why it shouldn't smash the top 5. Maybe the record company just want done with her though? She's been very vocal about how the album has been ready for a year or so and they've kept delaying it and forced her to record this track to make the record appear more mainstream.

EastEnders
I honestly think Ronnie has completly lost the plot. There is not a hint of recognition of reality in that woman's face. It's a very twisted and unsettling storyline but I think it's been handled brilliantly so far. People will always complain but that's because they have nothing better to do with their lives. I don't feel sorry for Ronnie at all now the initial shock has worn off of what she's done, she's acting completly OTT. That midwife was extremely creepy as well. I was sure she'd figured it out or something when she wanted to speak to Ronnie alone, the look was just very 'knowing'. I do wish they'd give Ronnie a break but it's Kat I feel for in this particular instance. Or maybe Ronnie a little when Kat finds out what she's done :o

HMV plans to close 60 stores
I don't buy anything from HMV - I/We just normally go into browse. Sometimes you can get a good deal but most of the time as people have said, it's fair easier to buy online. I don't know about their computer games etc but boxsets whether they're one season or an entire series are horribly overpriced, even when the show has been off air for years.

UK #1s 2011 predictions
Grenade is a surefire #1. Its performance worldwide demonstrates that if nothing else imo. I don't like the Adele song at all but judging by its reception it will easily be top 3 and #1 unless Ke$ha blocks it. I have no idea on so many of the others tbh. Have listened to most of them and there's hits and misses but the UK public are so fickle and the charts are kinda unpredictable at times [Alexis Jordan #3 anyone?], so we'll have to see. And no 'Alice' as not a proper release. It had a video if I recall but got no airplay at all and only played over the end credits of the movie [and it was pretty awful by Avril's usual standards]. If they do release WTH on the specified date, it has no chance in hell of being #1 and I think it'll struggle for top 10. They need to get it to radio and TV ASAP and release it properly in Feb. The 14th would be perfect :heehee: I worry for Avril but then I thought she'd genuinely struggle for success with her last album and she proved me wrong.

EastEnders
I still find it completly atrocious that people are offended by things in TELEVISION SHOWS. Maybe it's just my very open minded approach to things but I'm not going to waste time complaining about a baby swap when there's far graver things going on in the world. On a separate note, I found the episode tonight very cheesy. The whole speech from Roxy at the end was a bit too much to bear, especially as it was so cliche and we all know that poor baby is anything but the future. :(

Billboard Hot 100 of 2010
Will there be a download list released? I was very shocked to see Antebellum and Train in the top 3. Would've though Katy or Em/Riri would've been #1 but I forgot the Billboard's fetish for airplay.

Year-end-chart German National Top-50
It makes me sad seeing how massive Adam Lambert has been everywhere else but here :(

Record Of The Year [Group G]
01 B.o.B. ft. Hayley Williams - Airplanes Lady GaGa - Alejandro The Wanted - All Time Low The Saturdays - Ego Tinie Tempah - Pass Out Iyaz - Replay Rihanna & Drake - What's My Name? Jason DeRulo - Ridin' Solo Alicia Keys - Empire State Of Mind pt. II 10 Labrinth - Let The Sun Shine TBH I don't hate any of these songs at all. Alicia just annoys me because it was so overplayed and Labrinth's song is inoffensive, just bland. Also with a few exceptions in the final lot so far, the wildcard group is a hell of a lot better.

Predict : Higher - Taio Cruz ft. Kylie
It's a new track isn't it? That would at least spur some Kylie fans to seek a physical? I can see this being top 10 and a moderate sized hit. It won't sell buckets but should do similar to what Dirty Picture did. If Taio Cruz can give a McFly single more longevity than everything they've released since 2005 then ya knoooo....

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (II)
I assume there are two sales weeks left of 2010? Considering next week's sales will only include 1 day of 2011 [New Year's Day]. The first official #1 of 2011 will be from 2nd-8th Jan and announced on the 9th? Anyway - hate Katy B, but never thought Ms Dynamitee-hee would see the light of day again :o

Avril Lavigne // Goodbye Lullaby
I thought she'd come back with something along these lines. It sounds like she's caught somewhere between Girlfriend and Hot N Cold. Still sounds pretty decent just from that clip ^_^ Maybe the album won't be a complete failure after all. Hmmm.

EastEnders
I need to see NuBen more. He barely spoke on Tuesday so I'm going to have to get used to him before making any further comments. Anybody who can wipe the smile off Jay's face gets brownie points anyway. I really hate that kid -_- I also agree about the Stacey thing. I've never been too keen on her but she has been diabolical as of late. There's no sympathy at all from me. She openly admitted to just wanting sex from Ryan. That does make her appalling because she's determined to break up somebody else's marriage [not the first time eh?] Lacy may be an amazing actress but as a character, I don't get the love [lately anyway]. Janine may be evil and vindictive but I always feel something for her. I think I kinda relate. Not in the sense that I wish to kill people or poison them etc but I understand why she does what she does and to be fair - she does make excellent television.

Matt Cardle - When We Collide
I wonder if this thread would have more comments and love if he had a vagina? :kink:

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (II)
If you're going to download anything to stop TXF - make it Surfin Bird. :kink: But I actually like TXF song this year despite it being a Biffy Clyro cover - I wasn't as outraged as I foresaw when I actually heard Matt's version.

X Factor FINAL 2010
I'm shocked by One Direction have the best winner's song :o If Rebecca had gone with 'Sweet Dreams' for her release, I may have voted for her...
-
X Factor FINAL 2010
I don't understand why people are so pissed? Yeah he's a bit smarmy and arrogant but he has been consistant throughout and was clearly the best this weekend. Every performance was fantastic [only Rebecca's 'Sweet Dreams' was better]. I wish they both could've won but meh.

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (II)
No X Factor winning song can be as BAD as 'The Climb'. TBH I think the Trashmen will do really well and finish in the top 3. The only outcome where I can see them being a real threat for the #1 is if One Direction win. I have nothing against them but their music is going to appeal to a much smaller market of people than say Matt and Rebecca who I feel have support from all corners not just hormonally challenged teenage girls, gays and grannies. Ooooh and Crystal Castles at #96! Me loves that song <3 Best thing I've heard associated with The Cure in a VERY long time.

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (II)
I think the winner's song choices are true. They all leaked with a rumoured song list for last night's show which turned out to be true... Part of me secretly wants The Trashmen to be #1 :kink:

X Factor FINAL 2010
I doubt any of them will be remembered in twenty years time somehow :heehee: I actually was totally blown away by Matt & Rihanna. She has developed into a pretty awesome singer over the past few years. Yes, she stole the song but he also put in a good performance and their's was easily the most likeable duet. Christina tried to make her big UK comeback but flopped horribly. Oversinging and her voice combined with Rebecca's just didn't work at all. I do find Rebecca totally adorable but she's sooooo boring and whilst she'd be a very worthy and deserving winner, I can't say I'm that fussed with her. One Direction and Robbie was just scary. I don't mind these guys but the colour coded suits and murderous eyes of Robbie Williams creeped me the hell out. As for Cher. She has been outstanding for me on three occasions. The rest just make me want to hit her. Glad she's gone. She showed Will.I.Am up something rotten though. Brilliant rap and vocal on WITL? Ruined by him. Two shambolic performances in as many weeks from one of the biggest superstars in the world. Ha. The first performances were all dreadful, even if the Dido song does make me melt, Matt was off. Rebecca was boring. Even the twirling platform failed to get me engaged. One Direction were horribly out of key and chose a song far too big for them. It was clearly Cowell trying to manipulate the casual public as the song is everywhere atm. Cher's mash-up was two songs I can't stand. It was decent but still trainwreck. And whoever styled her needs to be shot. Overall for the night: - Round 001 - 01 Matt 02 One Direction 03 Cher 04 Rebecca - Round 002 - 01 Matt & Rihanna The other three I dunno. I can't decide which was more cringe worthy. I don't mind who wins out of the final three as none of them really appeal to me and I wouldn't bother buying an album from them. I also don't get the people saying SyCo will ruin Rebecca. She strikes me as being very content with a boring soul/blues type album. That's all I can see her doing anyway, with or without Cowell. I'm not sure how much of it is down to her/Cheryl, but she's disappointed me so much. She had so much promise at the start of the live shows and in her audition but I just feel very underwhelmed as each week progresses. Still wish Aiden was in the final :(
