X Factor FINAL 2010
I have been wondering whether all performances from the final will be allowed to chart/appear on the iTunes chart? It usually happens with the American Idol final doesn't it? Still all 4 songs being released would be pretty awesome ^_^

Simon Cowell to Launch New TOTP?
I didn't think of him hiring someone else to run it... Maybe it would work then if he had VERY little input. Oh and if he kept Fearne and Reggie away from it with barge poles...

X Factor FINAL 2010
I think * OneD/Robbie - Feel [it just popped into my head for some reason. It's one of those awesome Robbie songs I can see them butchering with their campy, overproduced chorus]. * Rebecca/Christina - Beautiful [Any of Christina's 'slower' songs tbh. Though I think this is an odd combination. The vocal tones are so completly different. Something from her BTB era which taps more into Rebecca's style would be suitable I think]. *Cher/Will.I.Am - I Gotta Feeling [Wouldn't be surprised. I can see Cheryl now trying to capitalise on the biggest song of the past 5 years. Though I wouldn't rule out 'Check It Out' or 'Heartbreaker' even]. *Matt/Rihanna - Umbrella [i think whatever this is going to be, it'll be an acoustic/slow number. If not 'Umbrella', then 'Unfaithful' or 'Russian Roulette'. I really think they have some decent performers this year and the duets are quite promising. Rihanna and Christina should be swapped though imo. I can see their respective performances being either stunning or a bit of a car-crash due to the vocal/style differences. Any word on the Sunday night performers or winner's songs?

Simon Cowell to Launch New TOTP?
Well if rumours are true about TXF being put on hiatus until 2012 due to the American version, Cowell is going to need some new platform next fall to launch all his precious acts off. I mean c'mon. Diana Vickers/Shayne Ward NEED another mild top 15 hit that would've been about 20 places lower without the help of good ol' (f)ix Factor innit. :smoke: I think we do need another music show to promote music - whether it's popular or underground or combining both. It may help undermine the predictability of the charts. I just shudder to think of Cowell at the helm of it :( Hopefully this will be all contrived lies like the 5000 other times he was supposed to be resurrecting it.

X Factor: The Live Shows [Semi-final]
More than double in fact :kink: And I like the idea of a different song for each artist if they win but seems they WILL be covers and if that 1D choice is true, at least they're going for more obscure songs rather than something released six months ago

X Factor: The Live Shows [Semi-final]
I think everybody is focusing far too much on Glee. They weren't outstanding but I still enjoyed it and it emphasised everything that is fun and exciting about the show. Burke also proved she was a worthy winner and the acrobatics behind her and her levitation stunt at the end were simply sublime. Mary's exit was predictable but it was a bit of a surprise to have a sing-off. I'm with the conspiracy theorists. I also thought Dannii Minogue might at least send it to deadlock but hmmmm. So yes people - leave Glee alone. The true car crash of the evening was the Black Eyed Peas. What a come down in less than 12 months from one of the biggest hits ever released to a diabolical performance like that and a guilty pleasure track forever tarnished by their $h!tty/so 2009 futuristic sound and out of time 'vocals'. Oh and as long as Cher doesn't win I don't mind. I'd personally like Matt or Rebecca but 1D would not actually be a great traversty. Cher is just annoying and she doesn't need the win anyway. She will be huge regardless.

Xmas #1's you've actually liked?
To be fair Queen have FAR better songs but BR is still worthy of some love... 2009 Rage Against the Machine - "Killing in the Name" 2004 Band Aid 20 - "Do They Know It's Christmas?" 2003 Michael Andrews & Gary Jules - "Mad World" 2002 Girls Aloud - "Sound of the Underground" 1998 Spice Girls - "Goodbye" 1997 Spice Girls - "Too Much" 1996 Spice Girls - "2 Become 1" 1995 Michael Jackson - "Earth Song" 1994 East 17 - "Stay Another Day" 1993 Mr Blobby - "Mr Blobby" [saw it yesterday. It is AMAZING CHEESE. The Shakespeare's Sister spoof is particulary orgasmic]. 1992 Whitney Houston - "I Will Always Love You" 1991 Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody / These Are The Days of Our Lives" 1987 Pet Shop Boys - "Always on My Mind" 1985 Shakin' Stevens - "Merry Christmas Everyone" 1984 Band Aid - "Do They Know It's Christmas?" 1982 Renée and Renato - "Save Your Love" 1981 The Human League - "Don't You Want Me 1979 Pink Floyd - "Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)" 1975 Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody" 1974 Mud - "Lonely This Christmas" 1973 Slade - "Merry Xmas Everybody" 1963 The Beatles - "I Want to Hold Your Hand" Jimmy Osmond, Rolf Harris and the milkman guy are just hilarious . Mud I used to like until I saw the video the other day - it was pretty horrific and scarred me for life I should think. Also anything touched by Cliff Richard is an abomination against mankind.

iTunes Chart: December 2010 (I)
I take back everything I said about how disgusting and vile 'Dirtee Disco'/'Once'/Other apalling #1s this year have been. I don't wish to be too harsh because this Willow thing is a kid but God that song is the biggest piece of dirge I have heard in possibly EVER. I would gladly transplant my ears to a pigeon. I pray to God Ellie or the BEPs hold her off - even continued mass buying of the XFF single by Simon Cowell and Sinitta would be better.

X Factor: The Live Shows (Week 8)
Haven't there been rumours as often as possible that Cher is going to sing a song by Cweedy? I doubt it's true. Not even Cheryl's ego is that big. I'm all set for Mary leaving 2moro but who knows what will happen :o

X Factor: The Live Shows (Week 8)
Well the good thing is we got rid of Waissel but also lost Wagner. Ah well. TBH I'd rather one of them stayed over Mary. She's so dull and I'm over her now but me and my friends enjoy getting together each week to ridicule Katie or laugh at Wagner's facial expressions :heehee: The Wanted were good but I'm not sure on the song yet. Bieber looked like a lesbian on acid. Hideous. Nicole Scherzinger is not one of my favourite people but that song is damn awesome and Cheryl Cole/Britney Spears - that's how you do a LIVE performance with dancing. If it's a double next week Ithink Mary and Cher will go. If not Mary is definately a goner. One D, Matt & Rebecca are clearly the big 3 guns for the final and I really have no idea who will triumph and tbh hen I'm drunk the mini-Biebers aren't that bad :o

New Release Schedule (Physical) : Monday 22 November

X Factor: The Live Shows (Week 7)
Wagner should wiin because it would stick it to Cowell. The public can play manipulate and fix just as much as he can. Look at last year's RATM episode. Fact aside Wagner deserves legendary status. I ROLL everytime he finishes singing and just stands there looking att the judges with one of those smiles on his face that are like 'I don't understand no English so I just smile and nod'.

Current longest consecutive singles chart runs
You do have to wonder who doesn't own a copy of songs like SOF and IGF by now

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (III)
I really don't like Olly Murs at all. Never understood how he came 2nd last year. This new song is utter dirge at its finest. Wish Adele would feck off too. On a positive note it's nice to see P!nk showing some stability. She'll be on at least 70kish by the end of this week which is quite incredible seems as it hasn't reached higher than #13 in the first 3 weeks of sales.

TV Theme Songs That Were Hits
I loved Paula Cole's song from DC! I dunno if the Eastenders one counts but Anita Dobson sang 'Anyone Can Fall In Love'. Made #4 in 1986 and she played Dirty Den's missus.

The X Factor 2010: Live Shows (Week 6)
She has changed imo. But I'm not sure if it's in a bad way. She's a lot more confident now and at least she's not bull$h!tting like the weasel. She knows it's a competition and she wants to win it. And this is coming from someone who thinks she's been extremely average every week bar 'Stay' :P I wish they'd have a P!nk week!

X Factor winners single 2010 - What will theey cover?
We all assumed it would be DSB after how huge it became last year but it wasn't... I really thought at the start of the year they'd go for something original after the RATM scandal but after seeing this year's season, Cowell is as lazy and manipulative as ever so expect to see some poor sod's track butchered. The man is just lazy. Same with the Haiti business. He'd rather just massacre an already existing song than spend time developing something original and interesting. As long as it gets him a quick splurge of cash - doesn't matter to Cowell.

Yogi Bear - what the f*** have they done.
I'm terrified by Yogi Bear. He looks like an abortion mixed in with a dirty, old man who oggles women in bars. Surely children will be running in terror alongside the rest of the movie viewing public? I never cared for the original cartoon but this is an abomination.

Predictions for 2011
I think our charts are becoming more and more American. British acts have been really slim on the ground this year! I've not heard any hype about anything up and coming except this Natila Kills thing. I'm not impressed.

The X Factor 2010: Live Shows (Week 6)
I think they just need to scrap the judge's votes. I have no blame on Dannii, Cheryl or Louis this week as they voted fairly or for their own act. I got the impression that Cheryl saved the weasel through gritted teeth but that's just me. And as I've already said - I accept Aiden had the least votes. It's just Cowell. He is worse than any politician for manipulating the country. Do you really have to agonise over who to send home when you have a uniue singer who may be a bit patchy, but has so much more potential, than a fake, Lady Gaga/Madonna wannabe who sounds like Katie Melua on crack when she sings? And I've not been sucked in by the hate. I haven't liked her since bootcamp. I've seen snippets of her reality tv show and she is so fake it/s unbelievable. And according to my friend - the 'parents' she has in the montages before her performance are different to those on her stupid 'show'. I have no idea if that's true as I'm unable to find footage online but I also sa a Youtube comment saying the same thing. She screams 'PLANT' to bring as much controversy to a formula that is dying hard. She is merely Cowell's way of keeping the show in the headlines and I just find her the most hideous thing EVER. And I'm sorry but even the mini-Biebers have heaps more talent than her. The public loathe her, even if she didn't come botton THIS week she's been there four times now out of what? Six live shows. And I'm not getting eaten up about it. Aiden can probably do a lot better without the puppet master that is Simon 'I#m going to turn a gay guy into a Mika/Scissor Sisters hybrid' Cowell. That's why I hope neither Matt/Rebecca or heck even Cher win because they do have potential to have a very LONG career and they won't have that opportunity being managed by that creature. The sooner he f***s off to America, the better for British music.

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (II)
Westlife's physical sales should push them to the low top 10, I'm thinking. I wonder if the fake version has damanged FEM's chances as it's stalling quite a bit. And I hate to say this but 'Safe' is probably the best Westlife song I've heard since 'World Of Our Own'. Everything else before and in between remains $h!te.
