Don't like Storame or whatever it's called. Then again it took me a long time to warm to Americano. I'm VERY disappointed with Linkin Park's new song but I want them to do well as they've never had a top 5 hit. Sadly, I doubt they'll make top 10.

I honestly can't see any of next week's new entries clearing 70k. Tbh I'd be surprised if any other than McFly made 50k. Be interesting to see how the increase in sales/change in sound will effect McFly more than anything. Their last singles in 2008 didn't sell that much but the market was lower then. I'm intrigued not only to see how much they can sell next week but if the song takes their usual mammoth plunges down the chart thereafter. I think there's no doubt that the current top 3 will be joined in the top 5 by McFly and Alex but the order will be very intriguing to watch.
  3. I expected Daisy Dares You to do quite well. Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera, Sugababes...

Just when you thought that show couldn't get anymore pathetic

Well seems everybody was posting their top 10 predictions for next week! 01. Katy Perry 02. McFly 03. Taio Cruz 04. Alexandra Burke 05. Olly Murs 06. Eminem & Rihanna 07. The Script 08. Alesha Dixon 09. Flo Rida 10. Roll Deep

Personally neither Alexandra or Alesha deserve top 10 imo. Very poor songs from exceptionally good artists [usually]. I actually prefer McFly & The Script over both
  7. Seriously Buzzjack never ceases to amaze me [in all the wrong ways!]. Loose Women is disgusting. I won't even waste any more words on it. I do find AD! far funnier than FG as well though the characters in FG are much more compelling.

Even if Katy doesn't manage it this week she will next week I reckon :D

Really want Katy to be #1 as that Olly song is diabolical at best. Really never saw the appeal with him on the show tbh. I suspect he will sell a bucketload of physicals though so that may give him the edge? Will definately be interesting!

Mint Royale - Singin' In The Rain? Reached low top 20 in 2005 and then got to #1 hree years later due to Cowell
  12. They had two showings on opening night here in Cambridge. It's gotten so much hype etc so it seems a little odd to me. It's very rarely I ENJOY a movie as I'm more of a TV series kinda guy. Movies are usually dull and retarded excuses for 'entertainment' Grown Ups being the perfect example.
  13. Their music may be a bit on the lifeless side but I can't help being entranced by Snow Patrol. Good band.
  14. I really didn't think I would like it but it was just f***ingfantastic! I loved every single character and didn't think there was a weak link in the entire story. Felt a bit rushed towards the end as the build up was extremely slow but that's about the only negative thing and I can easily overlook that. The humour was just top notch. Right up my street and so random and I haven't read the comics and got the gist of it.
  15. I loved Always Be from their last album but I agree it was rather a disappointment when compared to their earlier material. This new single is OK, there's just nothing grabbing about it. I'm not really sure how I feel about it yet tbh, I was expecting something so much better.
  16. Flo Rida is qutie decent considering the genre he's from. Not a fan of Powter though. Annoying voice. I like The Script guy's voice though.
  17. I always liked You're Beautiful by Blunt. I can tolerate him in small doses but he really is a one trick pony that is FAR past its sell by date.
  18. This should be VERY interesting :o I can't believe non entities like Kid Cudi were even nominated though

Supernatural is one show where continued angst does not suit it  I want the return of the giant teddy bear.
  20. Surprised they didn't remix it and add Sean Paul or some other non entity. I don't think she has the right sound for the US market at all unfortunately which is a shame as British artists haven't been making much of a splash over there this year.

Surely with her album out it will impact it? Though I would guess the album will suffer due to the climate and the cherry picking aspect. I'm impressed and pleased for Brandon. I've bored of the track a bit now but it's a deserving top 10 hit.
  22. The Wanted have had 1 single ffs! Once again the idiocy and shallowness of Buzzjack shines through :/ 01 My Chemical Romance 02 Foo Fighters 03 Green Day 04 Guns and roses 05 Evanescence 06 The Killers 07 Paramore 08 Abba 09 Muse 10 Linkin Park 11 Lostprophets 12 Blondie 13 Queen 14 Pendulum 15 All American rejects 16 Blur 17 S Club 7 18 Spice Girls 19 Erasure 20 Journey 21 Scissor Sisters 22 Suede 23 Girls Aloud 24 Take That 25 The Veronicas KK: The Wanted

He pisses all over Leon Jackson. I think there's something extremely likeable and adorable about him and plus he has a great voice. If the material isn't just lifeless ballads and karaoke covers he may do quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a very successful lead single and decent selling album and then faded into theatre or some such. He won't get a #1 album though as he's up against Kings Of Leon.
  24. I enjoy Ghost Whisperer. It’s more TV that is there to just chill out to than something I can really become addicted to like Buffy. Medium is good from what I have seen and I need to watch more episodes. I like the premise even if I’m unsure about the lead actress. Angel is a fantastic series that although is not as good as Buffy it certainly is its own show. It relies too heavily on the connection to Buffy for its first season but as it progresses it creates its own mythology and becomes a lot darker and I personally found some of the later seasons to be much more consistent than Buffy’s even if the writers did butcher the Cordelia character. Just been watching The OC again. I enjoy the balance between the cast but there are just so many episodes that are repetitive or where nothing really happens. I guess that’s the whole point of a teen drama but I still prefer Dawson’s Creek to it. Being Human is a show I’ve only recently began to enjoy and one of the few British programmes I actually bother with. Love also to Supernatural. I recommend you watch it if you haven’t before. The first 4 seasons all manage to top the predecessor before the 5th is a huge letdown but bleh. Buffy deserved #1. I’m bias but I don’t care. The fact they write billions of academic essays on the themes etc proves it’s more than just a run of the mill, generic TV series and I honestly believe it made the idea of a heroic female lead in a drama series more appealing considering all the shows with the same premise that popped up around the same time and since [Charmed, Joan of Arcadia, Tru Calling etc]. There's obviously better vampire media out there but Buffy always spoke to me on so many different levels. It may have been a world about supernatural creatures but it had real life angst and issues alongside that, that I could relate to. Scrubs was delightful though a bit repetitive towards the end. It’s one of those shows that specialises in a certain type of humour and as of such can only appeal to a specific market. Mmmmhmmm. Thanks for the results so far. ^_^

It seems interesting and I am going to watch the show still but if it doesn't pick up then I'm going to jump ship and I rarely do that with a TV show no matter how bad it gets [Heroes excluded]. I'm just still very disappointed about the horrible mess that was Season 5. I believe it was all changed at the last minute because they saw the opportunity to make more episodes and rushed around to try and make something that would be able to be continued. Negativity aside and the premise etc of Season 6 does sound promising.
