  1. OMG it's good :/ Even Tom sounds good for once. Reminds me of 3Oh!3 and Cobra Starship type music. Goodness. I've always found them to be rather hit and miss tbh but this new album sounds interesting ^_^
  2. 1,059,000 plz. Say it's just a print error and that's the real position. Clearly she is the only person that's bought it :kink:
  3. I like loads of male singers! :D They're usually in a band though. Would be more interesting though as we'd have no idea who would win
  4. They got no nominations at all bless them  I mean Diana Ross is so clearly the person Jacko used to model his not so perfect face on it's eerie and Cher gave us that vocal corder slice of hot sex 'Believe' way before anybody else jumped on the bandwagon :heehee: I guess BJ just hates on the oldies...

How AWFUL  Yet another classic song destroyed.

Derulo reminds me of a much better looking, darker skinned, less retarded version of Reggie Yates :heehee: I don't think What If samples anything. It just sounds like recycled production-ness from BIT ala Halo/Already Gone
  7. You're right :P Should be 25th. Imma looking at my calendar wrong haha.
  8. What did Relapse sell? I'm sure it was less than 400k? LTWYL is a big album shifter imo.

Not only is Adam flopping but Pendulum aren't looking too good with Witchcraft either :( They're both out next week as well.

  12. http://i26.tinypic.com/1118fuq.png So a total of 48 posters contributed with 213 unique female artists being nominated. Sadly only the 100 with the most points and/or nominations make it through to be considered as BuzzJack's Ultimate Female Singer. These 100 artists are listed in the next post. RULES [1] For this stage you must select your favourite artists from the final list of 100 and create a chart ranking your selections in order of preference with #1 being your favourite. [2] The mininum number of artists you may include is 10 with the maximum being 25. Anything over or under these amounts will not be counted. [3] The points will be allocated as follows: 25pts for a #1, 24pts for a #2 etc. The artist with the most points after all the votes have been counted will obviously be crowned the winner. [4] Please don't complain that so & so didn't make it through. The members of BuzzJack nominated the artists. I had nothing to do with the list below. So blame yourselves! BITCH SLAP Looking at the list of the final 75 may bring some of you out in a rage. "Where are the classic divas and entertainers?" you may ask yourself. To combat this insanity, I have introduced the BITCH SLAP rule: [1] You may select ONE of the artists from the list to nominate for your bitch slap. They will have 3 points deducted from their total. [2] This is not compulsory so if you don't wish to participate then it is OK. The round will close on Sunday July 25th with the results unfolding at some date afterwards. I'm unsure when as of yet, but they will be completed by the start of August as I'm going back to uni, you have my word ^_^. So let it begin... & thanks to DougJames for the banner. :D http://shantytown.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/bitch-slap.jpg
  13. Last chance to nominate artists before I put the final round up later.

Have you tried Youtube? I'm sure I saw a non censored version on there.
  15. B.o.B & Aphrodite. Em&RiRi have plenty of time yet methinks but I feel as if this week will be Airplanes last chance to get to #1 in one of the big countries at least.

Oh and Diana Vickers is equally talentless and it annoys me no end to see her constantly artist-rimmed on this forum -_-

Katie Price is the most horrific thing to ever crawl out of a woman's mini-moo. An abomination in every sense of the word. Just seeing her ugly f***ing face plastered on magazines makes me want to hurl. I really just for the life of me cannot understand how someone so talentless can release a track that people buy? Then again the public are stupid. I won't deny even the most appalling artists like Westlife have soem talent that makes them credible [even if they can't release an original track to save their lives]. Sure she's a good businesswoman. Knows how to drop her skirt and marry any twat that comes along to try and gain publicity but she is everything that is wrong with this country. It is awful to see girls as young as 13 who list her as their inspiration. It just makes me sad tbh :( Maybe I'm not feeling that harsh today

Religion is deadly. I think they've done a fantastic job. OK it's a little extreme but this isn't real life is it? It does in its own way highlight how horrific religion can be. It causes wars [all the world's major wars throughout history], encourages persecution and in this case is the reason for why somebody thinks murder is justifiable. As you can tell I hate religion but kudos to Eastenders for a gripping storyline. I'll miss Lucas. The mental ones always make the soap so much more enjoyable in a hilarious, yet creepy way [Mad Maya anyone? :heehee:].

I wasn't entirely looking forward to this album as 1] the song abve sounds a bit meh and 2] I had a feeling they'd suffer from the 2nd album slump. However, Rihanna sounds really interesting and I'm a bit more excited now :P
  20. I actually really liked it but I still wasn't overwhelmed. It was a big step up and far superior to the previous two but that's because it's the best book. I am a fan but I'm still not 100% convinced that the series works as a movie imo. I shudder to think how they'll portray the last one. Breaking Dawn was the worst kind of fan fiction ever. It makes the flashforward chapter of The Deathly Hallows look amazing. Back to the film. Kudos to K.Stew though. She really is fantasic <3 And as much as I wish to bone RPatz, he is a bit bad as Edward Cullen but even he had genuine moments of good acting where I wasn't just looking at his facial features :o I loved the fight scene between the Cullens and the newborns. I wish there had been more of it. Also liked that the Cullen clan got more screentime. I know it was impossible due to them being out of the last book for a great part but I always love seeing them. ^_^ I also found the general flow of the story a lot quicker which I liked and the new Victoria was in Being Human right as Daisy? Or not

I've never liked Mark Ronson but this tune is a whole new level of horrendous. I'd be happy if none of the new entries made top 40  [Except for I Blame Coco <3]

The only similarity I can hear between LTWYL and AP is that both songs have a rapper and a female singer. Maybe it's just me

I see Derulo is doing well with his newie. I dunno if this has been said already but it reminds me awfully of 'Better In Time' by Leona Lewis

I still have a nagging feeling that all this will be too late to stop them from getting #1. Their sales were clearly very frontloaded at the start of the week. They may be just too far ahead :( Hopefully the Almost Saturday charts can let us know how close it is.
  25. Their last album was fantastic! I agree not a patch on the previous two but it still had some solid tunes on it. 'Leave Out All The Rest' <3 I await this eagerly ^_^
