Can't believe Annie Lennox is back. I love that song!

Your opinions on the Thatcher chart campaign
I wonder how much of this is a protest against the current government as well?

The Big Reunion Series 2
Charlie Simpson would never go back to Busted. He hated it. S CLUB 7 deserve their own STEPS style show. They are far too good to share the limelight.

To say I'm disgusted is a bit of an understatement. I'd rather The Saturdays stay at #1 and now P!nk's chance is lost :(

Thought I recognised it. Dreadful song anyway -_-. I wish P!nk would go top 10 already. Swiftie is only still there because of the goat. She should share her royalties with it.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 17th February 2013
I'd rather One Direction. I'm sorry, but even with the dances factored in that Harlem Shake business is atrocious and just noise. That said, I do find the 1D cover dreadful, but not as much. My heart sank when they started wailing 'I wanna hold you wanna hold you tight', as I prayed it was just a random line they had thrown in and not a molestation of one of my favourite songs :( It's a shame as I usually do quite like everything they release.

Streaming Sales
I don't like the idea at all. The only thing I can see in its favour, is that it may encourage more alternative bands that aren't usually huge single sales to sell more consistently, but that's the only positive for me. I don't think it's a problem. Sales are massive at the moment. Unless, we have a situation like the middle of the 2000s where downloads start to become obsolete in favour of streaming, I'd say no.

Anybody know what is happening with 'It's Time' by Imagine Dragons and if this is still being released?

The End Of HMV
Where will people buy albums now? Surely digital/Amazon sales of them will rocket if only independents and supermarkets sell them?

Gaga's Open Letter to Kelly Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne is a VILE excuse for a human being. I cannot stand her. But, after reading both of these letters in depth, she makes very valid points. I applaud Gaga for what she does and how she sticks up for people and whatnot, but she shows no respect for animals as Sharon clearly highlights and uses them to make a fashion statement. Surely, if she cared that much about a peaceful, unified world, she wouldn't run around in some of those outfits she's spawned in the past.

Kylie - Quitting Music
I'm sorry, but that article does not paint her in a very good light at all and is clearly a crock of shit. It makes her sound like another Britney-puppet who can't make decisions about her career without her father or her male manager and that she's a big diva, because she's no longer the big star of her record company. :/

The Nation's Favourite Christmas Song
Good top 5. The rest of it felt very granny centric though...

Gezza's 12 charts of Christmas.......
Wasn't this year a year where the Christmas chart fell quite a way before the actual 25th, but was the nearest Sunday to it? I'm pretty sure Mr Hankey peaked at #4, which wouldn't have happened once the festive season died down and Steps and S Club 7 also got higher peaks of #4 and #2 respectively once the new year came in...

'Sinister' (5th Oct - US/TBA - UK)
I know you hated it, but I was genuinely terrified. I think it was more the music and actual monster that did it, rather than the acting and ridiculous ghost children. I'm not usually fazed by horror movies, but I was scared to be alone in the house for a few days after this and slept with the lights on  Even now, if I ponder on it for too long, I get the shivers.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Not really that excited. I don't yet know how the movies are going to look, but the other two books were very poor and the second in particular is practically a rehash of the first.

X Factor 2012 - Live Shows: The Final
Do we really think this Christopher creature is going to win? I read he votes for himself multiple times each week. Not sure if that's true or not. I also read he has some weird Oedipus thing going on with his Nan. I'm just watching the finale for the goddess that is Clarkson.

XF Winners Song...
Simon Cowell really likes 'Impossible' doesn't he? It's a pretty good song though. I am actually going to be watching the final, though have watched none of the series. i only know about Christopher. Dude would have been better singing the oompa loompa song.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 2nd December 2012
It's a battle of two evils for me. The Bruno song is awful, but I despise these hideous piano driven ballads that murder classic songs. That Birdy Bint has a lot to answer for (I think Ellie Goulding started it with 'Your Song', but I like that one so I'll blame Birdy). Gabrielle Aplin's song is like the musical equivalent of watching paint dry, but still manages to have a little more life than the Calling one from last year.

I can't believe X Factor UK continues to ignore P!nk, when she goes on all the other country's versions

End of Chart Stats
I think it's disgusting personally. I love Chart Stats. I can't believe how desperate the OCC are to keep all this information to themselves and so secret.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 2nd September 2012
P!nk is a f***ing legend. Her new single is generic, but she always releases a gimmicky track for her first release. 'Raise Your Glass', 'So What', 'Stupid Girls'. Where she is amazing is that her album will sound fantastic and subsequent singles will be something different. I can't wait for the album. even collaborations with Eminem, Lily Allen and the Fun. frontman aren't going to put me off :D Ne-Yo has always been dreadful. Even Chris Brown makes better music.

Tina Barrett - Fire
Teenah will always be legendary. The fact nobody cared for her during the height of SC7's fame coupled with the fact that we still don't care, makes her a hot mess just waiting to explode like an ice cream sundae in a cannon. After the tie-dye dress incident she clearly has no self-respect left (it's possible, she was mistaken for a hooker by David Schwimmer after the premiere of 'Seeing Double'). Beenie Man ffs? That man should be stoned.

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
I was very surprised TTWE flopped actually. It's easily the best song Britney has released since 2004 in my opinion, and one of the few highlights of her dodgy comeback period circa 2007. I guess the dodgy release and lack of promotion ruined its chances. Her and Madonna really need to understand, that they're not exempt from promoting their material because they deem themselves to be such massive stars etc. WTH was a disappointment and felt too much like a recreation of 'Girlfriend', but I still liked it, even though my love affair with Avril is pretty much over now.
