Is it just me or was I the only one who was let down by it thanks to the promo trailer?
That's why I never watch promos or spoilers :P
Yeah it did feel very True Blood in which they closed the chapter on the whole tombed vampire business and then had some scenes establishing a new arc and then cut off at that exact point. It's a great tactic though at least with TVD we don't have to wait double the time for it to be resolved

Hey gimme a break like :P I was psyched after the episode and wrote a load of jibberish lol.
I just for some reason had the major characters down as Elena, Stefan, Damon, Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Tyler and Jenna. Possibly Alaric. Anna always felt like one of those recurring characters they introduce to move the plot along but always has a short shelf life. I predicted long before the finale that she'd snuff it especially after what happened to her mother.

Well they didn't really kill off any of the main cast [as in they're dead for good] like we were expecting. Anna was great and all but she wasn't really a 'main' character in the same essence the inner circle are. And the mayor. Well it was hard to care for his death seems as he was hardly featured and was a stuck up ijit anyway.
I just see a lot of potential in Jenna's character though I'm unsure whether the actress is naturally wooden and dull or whether that's down to her potrayal of the character/lack of anything to sink her teeth into. I mean the Alaric romance seemed to cool off a bit once he found out his crazy vampire wife was Elena's mother.
You are right about the deaths though so who knows
I'm wondering if Jeremy will become a vampire though. Watching the scene I found it possibly the funniest way of becoming a vampire ever :heehee: Take an overdose and wake up a blood drinking creature of the night? I have a feeling it might fail or he'll be found and saved before it's too late. Wasn't Jenna in the house too or would Katherine have already knocked her out/disposed of her before killing Uncle Arsetard?
UGH I have so many questions :o Definately one of the best [second to Glee :kink:] shows atm!

I must say it didn't leave me as excited for September as The Vampire Diaries but it was still an awesome finale! It's just a shame the rest of the season was so lame in comparison because that was the best SPN finale since Season 2 in my opinion. I'm interested as to the direction the show takes now.
Loved the scene where Sam/Lucifer were talking in the mirror. Also the whole deal with the car and the fact that Chuck may or may not be God... Castiel as usual providing humour
However, I do feel if they decide to kill Dean's new family, it really would be a cliched and poor imitation of what started the series in the first place.
I see Sam's 'return' as one of many things:
God bought him back
The horseman rings failed and he's still with Satan
He's now an angel or demon or some such [why did the street light flicker?]
It was a spirit
Hmmm. :(

I sort of thought that somehow when Tyler like 'came back to life' he transferred his death or whatever to Caroline? She dropped as soon as he opened his eyes...
I kept yelling at the screen for someone to kill Uncle Asswipe for the entire episode so thank god it finally happened! I couldn't believe it when they just left the cliffhanger there though. 4 Months!!! :(
Jeremy as a vampire and the whole werewolf thing and I really love Bonnie more than ever and of course Katherine. She really is one unhinged bitch/ I also hope Jenna gets some more screen time next year as I really like her and she is very under-used.
Overall 100/10 :heehee: Let's hope Supernatural's finale can give me the same pleasure :kink:

On thirtieth listen, All The Lovers remains immense. When did 2010 start getting so GOOD?
I agree! :D I change my mind about it not being a #1. It gets more and more amazing with every listen <3
I'm trying to place where I've heard the music from ATL before. It sounds like something out of a video game

Even if they hadn't renewed V, I'd have still booted FF anyway..

I love Avril's KHO but the extra harmonies in the Glee-tastic version are just orgasmic <3

Loads of shows have been picked up too :D The Undercovers from J.J Abrams sounds pretty cool. Not too keen on the rest so far.
Rumours are that Heroes has FINALLY been shelved but nothing official has been confirmed.
Jark - Medium's fate will be known by next week at the latest when all the networks reveal their schedules for September.

Have you noticed the number of urban tracks that do sod-all for months outside the T40, then as soon as they scrape in, absolutely zoom up the charts? It's as if their chav fanbase can't count more than 40... :P
Also, why would anyone want to 'ride solo' when there are so many hot babes around the music scene... :naughty:
Chavs are like rats. They certainly breed like them and as soon as one gets wind of a slammin' new beat - you can bet the rest will be on it like an old woman on a street corner. *nods*
P.S I dunno what it is about TEOTH. Glee is obviously CHEESE to the nth degree but that's its appeal. It's so uplifting and makes people happy [well those who watch it] and TEOTH just manages to get in your head like most of their songs :(

Pfft that's ages away. Maybe she can get on the X Factor seems Diana Vickers murdered Girlfriend.
It'd be retribution. :P
I'm not overly hyped for this record though. She's going to have come back with something huge to regain my attention as that leaked track and Alice just aren't strong enough for one of my favourite artists :(

It should never have gotten renewed for another season, its atrocious that a show can go on for 10 seasons with such atrocious ratings while much better shows get cancelled with much higher ones. Especially these last 3 seasons, season 7 should've been their last.
I personally think Smallville was always weak and unimaginative. Sure I liked Seasons 1-5 and found them good to watch but they weren't exactly groundbreaking. It did start to get VERY ridiculous after the 100th episode though I've noticed it's been a bit better as of late.
ATM The CW has about 4 new shows that could air next year. One about Changlings based on a book series called Betwixt looks like a solid contender to take the 9pm Thursday slot. Ever since I heard about that pilot I expected the Supernatural move. It's the 13 episodes I can't get my head around...
All will be revealed next week anyway :D

iTunes Thread: May III
in UK Charts
For Gods sake. Go lick out Alexandra Burke somewhere else. Her chart runs and career from Pakistan to Timbooktu have nothing to do with the UK iTunes thread. Loonage to the nth degree -_-
I am really starting to like the B.O.B song but it's nowhere near as awesome as 'Airplanes'
