Probably the best new song of the year along with 'My Life Would Suck Without You', hope it's a huge success for her! :DWe are so on the same wavelength there <33
'Halo's' video was $h!tty. I too envision a huge epic war scene type thing for 'Battlefield' or at least something a lot cooler than Beyonce in a tank of wather and that freaky guy with the strange eyes.

I wish 'My Life Would Suck Without You; could whore up the charts like the horrible Ironik, Ciara and AR/PCD songs have :( I don't care much for a lot of the stuff in the charts atm. Big comedown from the great start to the year. Hopefully Little Boots and the Veronicas will kick some $h!t out of it in the next few weeks.

Buffy is pure amazement. <333
Even after the introduction of the whiny bratty sister it stayed a brilliantly written and amazingly acted show. I worship it forever. :kink:
And I also don't get the hype with The Inbetweeners. Maybe it's just because I can't relate to the characters and straight man humour disgusts me.

A huge overhyped #02. The same happened with H Two O and Kid Cudi when everyone was sure they'd be #01. :P
Agreed. It sucks big time. I'm very disappointed with Armand Van Helden and I was just starting to warm to Dizzee after 'Dance Wiv Me' but this as somebody rightfully put it is EAR RAPE. It is so messed up and his vocals are horrendous. I hope to god BEPs, Little Boots, anything stops it being no1 but it'll probably be a huge hit all the same and be no2.
And yes it is a pile of chav trash. Just because people who aren't chavs like it - doesn't make it any less so. I've already heard them all blasting it out of their pods everywhere :/

IMO 'Bleeding Love' and 'Umbrella' should occupy the top 2 slots of the decade officially. Much more defining songs than Will Young, Gareth Gates and the other $h!t clogging up that top ten.
Good countdown here though kinda predictable. BTHE is much better than SUBG but both are brilliant so glad Kelly got some recognition and a shame P!nk wasn't in the top 10 at all :( I should've voted innit lol.

There's only 7 songs in the top 75 I really LOATHE. Mentions to all of them obvz :heehee:
5pts Miley Cyrus - Hoedown Throwdown [i don't normally hate on her but the title is awful and the song itself. GOD. Seriously it's just the worst thing I've heard in a long time]
4pts Asher Roth - I Love College
3pts Eminem - We Made You
2pts Keri Hilson feat. Timbaland Return The Favour [it's bland and a load of rehashed $h!t we've heard 1000 times before basically]
1pt KIG
Honourable mentions to:
Eminem feat. Dr Dre & 50 Cent Crack A Bottle
Lady Sovereign So Human

You can preorder the album on iTunes and listen to clips of all the tracks :D
Dunno if that's been said already but I didn't bother to read the rest of the thread.
That said Boots is a new artist I can finally get excited about as 2009 has been pretty boring so far for new talent. I already think the album is going to be my favourite of the year just from the clips

As great as 'Halo' is we don't want tonnes of carbon copies of it running around the charts or it'll be like Timbaland whoring himself everywhere all over again. That said this does sound promising and I look forward to hearing it. Jordin Sparks had 4 great singles from her last album even if the rest of it was rather dull.
-
I don't think it will be number one but they definately have another big hit on their hands. TBH I've only recently grown to like 'In For The Kill' after listening to it a lot, whereas my love for 'Bulletproof' came on first listen. It sounds very much like a lot of the typical female electro-pop artist's material but still manages to forge its own identity. I don't think I can tolerate too much of the banshee wailing so I'm pleased to read their album is gonna be a mix of the two.

Well I can tell that not many people are going to like this before I even post it but it deserves loveage for being yet another brilliant song from AAR. I really think they're underrated and underappreciated as they've served up three brilliant albums in a row and deserve much more success in the UK.
Anyway this is apparentlez the follow up to 'Gives You Hell' and is out in June.
