So I said I’d pop back in to talk about the show! From the moment she stepped on to the stage, the stadium just erupted in a way I don’t think I’ve ever seen before - even the Spice Girls or Lady Gaga in their respective “imperial” phases. She is just a machine. How she manages to do that show night after night is truly beyond my comprehension. I noticed a slight lull during the FolkMore era but that could have been the rain - although that disappeared as soon as it arrived. Everyone was back up by 1989/TTPD. I’m gutted I missed Florida!!! which was the night after me, but otherwise I think I lucked out with the surprise songs. There was a girl who was trading bracelets who ONLY wanted ones that said Long Live and she said she would die if it was the surprise song. No news yet on how she is… I also heard on the train back that someone fainted at the beginning of Paramore and missed the lot!! All in all, I’m so glad I went. I had major fomo when she first announced the UK dates so I had to get a ticket for the additional Wembley dates! I’ve seen 1989 and Reputation (and only missed Red as I was out the country!) so I’ve been with her a while! I look forward to the next one!
