The Stubbs

The main thing I noticed when i saw them live was how much pennie moved compared to the rest of the band. Pennie was all over the place while the rest of them didnt do that much, to me how a band plays live is the most important thing. pennie holds that band live performance together, whether you love him or hate him!

The Automatic played in Brixton Academy a couple of weeks ago, not being a great fan of theirs (i was there for the horrors) I didnt think i'd enjoy their set but i gotta say I thought it was pretty good for a band with an album made up of 12 of the same song! I think anything they bring out from outside the album, they will probably try to make very different. Might work, might not. I'm sure they know that they are going to have to add some variety sooner or later (if they dont then someone should tell them!)

The pigeon detectives are an excellent band. They played at the hertford marquee last year where my band do some of our gigs, one of the best gigs i've ever been to. The venue only holds about 200 people so you get such a great atmosphere from it.

I honestly didn't have a clue that he had a solo carreer. If its anything like the chilli's stuff then i'll probably love it!
