Nearing the end of the series now, only 3-4 episodes to go i think, should be a VERY interesting conclusion, as we can see if they find the demon that killed jessica & their mother

Personally i think the best 80s films are Raging Bull, Scarface, Predator & The Terminator :cheer:
  4. RIP  Really good actor, never the star or leading man, but always played the bad guy authority figure in a host of 80s films, bit like the bloke who played Mr Strickland in Back to the Future
  5. Rubbish the album is still top 30 after 5 months & stayed top 5 for weeks, plus KT tunstall is completely different style of music, so how can u compare her to an UK Indie Act -_-
  6. Rubbish, they have had less airplay than all of the others in the top ten, expect the RHCP,Snow Patrol & The Kooks to be in the top ten soon

We used to send are top acts in the past such Cliff & Lulu, but lets face it, only pop idol rejects bother entrying now :arrr: Theres no point, most eurovision songs in the past garanteed a big hit, but in the 90s & 2000s the hits dried up, hasnt been a big eurovision hit in ten years now
  11. Adore the song  & im so glad it won, it something memerable at least :fingers: expect it on Kerrang soon :D

Where i used to work, their were $h!t-loads of polish workers, mostly on $h!te money by british standards(but good money compared to poland wear they earn £200 a month on average) Most of them were fine, worked hard & were friendly people. The Government must love them coming over as they keep inflation down. My dad said though, the only problem espcially in the building trade is that wages will go down for British people, as companies can start employing cheap Polish workers instead. But it was the same for the Asian & Black people who came over in the 50s. They only came over for the c**p jobs that the white working class wouldnt do. & got alot of $h!t(no blacks, no dogs, no irish etc) & continued too get grief till the 1980s. But i would say they are now accepted by the majority as being part of britain(on the outside at least). It be interesting how the Poles intergrate to Britain in the next few decades, will they do as well as the indians & the chinese immigrants, who do better than most british people do, will they continue to settle for bad wages, or will they expect better wages, when they realise how expensive it is to live in this country, i think they will have it easier than the black & asian immigrants as they are the same skin colour, in 30 yrs the second/third genrations be just as British as the rest of us.
  19. There's plenty of alternatives out there for bands - the best one being for bands to just flog themselves on the internet and just cut out the middleman altogether - worked for Arctic Monkeys and Gnarls Barkely.... good point, & i hope so too, personally i have no time for major labels, espcially the way they dont give artists time to develop
  20. As i said before, it doesnt matter anyway? If i like an artists, i dont care what genre their pigeoned holed into, would u rather major labels not touch alternative music & leave all the indie/rock bands on independent labels & just promote x factor contestents? Personally i think its great that indie music, or britpop whatever u wanna call it, real artists who play their intruments are doing so well in the charts at the moment, or would u prefer a return of s club & steps dominating  Which probably happen in a couple of yrs anyway
  21. Do u know what a chav is? Preston is a middle class lad from brighton, who went to uni, how is he a chav? Cos he doesnt dress like a member of the libertines or DPT, doesnt make him a chav

who cares? I honestly dont think it matters what genre of music a group belongs to , aslong as their good then it doesnt matter?
