Bet its some religious nut who thinks hes doing the world a favour by killing hookers
  7. What a joke  What Zara Philips done then? If she wasnt in the royal family would she of won  There should be only ONE winner and that Joe Calzaghe After 42 fights, 42 wins and 31 knockouts, Joe has proved his is one of the best pound for pound fighters in the world and the UK's top boxer. He is currently the longest reigning world champion and has held his WBO super middleweight title for 9 years whilst colledting the IBF and IBO world titles along the way. He has defeated other previously unbeaten world champions and as an amature won 3 consecutive ABA titles at 3 different weight classes and only lost one amature fight, the oppositions father was the referee. Therefore, as boxing is a sport where you can lose your title, unbeaten record and good health in a split second or a punch, in my eyes the real winner is Joe Calzaghe.

  11. FORMER Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie yesterday revealed "I was not sorry then and I'm not sorry now" for the paper's infamous coverage of the Hillsborough disaster. Speaking at a business lunch, he told more than 100 guests he had only apologised to the people of Liverpool because the newspaper's owner Rupert Murdoch had ordered him to. And he insisted the Sun had only been reporting "the truth" when it accused Liverpool fans caught in the terrace crush of urinating on the dead and stealing from bodies. Mr MacKenzie was guest speaker at the annual lunch of Newcastle law firm Mincoffs LLP. A source told the Daily Post: "There was a question and answer session and someone asked him if he went to Liverpool much. "He said: 'All I did wrong there was tell the truth. There was a surge of Liverpool fans who had been drinking and that is what caused the disaster. 'The only thing different we did was put it under the headline 'The Truth'. 'I went on the World at One the next day and apologised. I only did that because Rupert Murdoch told me to. I wasn't sorry then and I'm not sorry now because we told the truth.' " The source added: "He then compared people in the city to animal rights protesters and told an anecdote about a time when he visited the city and got in a taxi. "He said the driver was talking about The Sun and said if he ever had Kelvin McKenzie in his taxi he would kill him. "Then he said if the things he had said today got out he was sure the whole thing would blow up again." Last night, families of the 96 victims, Liverpool FC and politicians condemned Mr MacKenzie. The head of the Hillsborough Family Support Group branded the comments callous and challenged him to repeat them to him face to face. Phil Hammond, chairman of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, whose 14-year-old son died in the tragedy, said: "This just shows what kind of man he is. "It has been proven that the story was a pack of lies yet here is all these years later peddling his lies on the after-dinner speaking circuit. "Why doesn't he come and tell the families this to their faces? "If he really believed he was printing the truth and stood by what he said then why didn't he walk away when Rupert Murdoch supposedly made him make this apology?" A spokesman for Liverpool FC said: "Any comment of that nature would be totally inappropriate and hugely disappointing." Liverpool FC were playing Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup semi-final at the South Yorkshire stadium in 1989. Lord Justice Taylor's official inquiry into the tragedy found the cause of the disaster was overcrowding and failures by the police. The Sun apologised in July 2004 saying it was "truly sorry" and that its false allegations were "the most terrible mistake in its history." But families of the victims refused to accept the apology, which was issued in the wake of the angry reaction on Merseyside caused by Everton and England soccer star Wayne Rooney's deal to tell his life story to the newspaper, for a reported £250,000. He returned to The Sun to work as a columnist from May, 2006, and is also current boss of the Wireless Group. Walton MP Peter Kilfoyle said: "His comments just reinforce the fact that he was an unfit person to run a national newspaper. "Everybody knows he sanctioned that story and he will have to live with that." Louise Ellman, MP for Liverpool Riverside, said: "I think it is outrageous. "It shows that when prejudice is deeply ingrained it is very difficult to remove. "All the facts, including the official inquiry, are against him. It is disgraceful." Total Prick Never Forget, boycott the Scum <_<

Probably an Aussie win. As there near impossible to beat on home soil. Who ws the team to beat em at home in a series? Think its been about 15yrs now. But i would LOVE it to win beat em ,however unlikely. Doubt we get whitewashed, we definaly win at least 1 test i would say. Im not to worried about Trescothick as he wouldnt be any good anyway if he has mental problems. Lets hope monty, cook, and bell can step up to the plate, as they all had great summers. At least this Aussie team is ageing, none of there younger players convince me that there anywhere near the quality of Warne, Mcgrath, Hayden etc. So in the next few yrs we "could" be able to beat em in Austraila, But its a tour to soon i fear, maybe in 2010/11. But people said that last time, and look what happened :cheer:

Take Thats , All Saint, 5ive have all returned recently, but does it show the dreadful state that pop music is in that these bands have to return. I mean apart from Girls Aloud and Sugababes, what pop bands have made any exciting pop music over the last 4/5 yrs? None all the exciting music is comin from the Rock and underground dance scene, pop music is very bland at the mo with few people takin a interest. Pop music needs some exciting new artists not old has-beens lookin to make some money. Discuss.
  20. Westlife <_< After 7 yrs off misery, they still get no1 :arrr: Must be grannies who buy it, i mean if u think about it the 12 yr olds who bought Westlife singles in 1999 must be 19 now, WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY to old for Westlife. Westlife = Music for over 80s :puke2:
  21. Well i was at the match so i can see were Newells coming from. The Lineswomen was awful, but ive seen alot of awful male officials as well, sex doesnt come into it.
  22. . I mean Radiohead are'nt exactly rock either. Their debut album was quite grungey i guess, in fact i believe Radiohead were big in the US before they were big in the UK, when Creep Came out anyways. My fav band of the 90s is RATM. Awesome band, personally i think they split at the wrong time. I would love to hear what they think of the Bush Administration :cheer:
  23. Complete Garbage, whoever wrote that article is talkin c**p, yeh immigration a problem but the benefits way outstrip the negatives imo. Dont understand everyone problem tbh. How many Immigrates are on the Giro? Less than 1% i believe. Face facts the Eastern Europeans are very hard workers. Plus there mostly paid very low wages doing jobs the British workclass wont do , and there women are stunning :cheer:. I hate the ruddy Chavs more tbh, least the Poles dont go around mugging people or happy slappin  Makes me laugh how the Rich Britians moving out complain about the immigrats in this country not integrating with british society. But they only move to Australia, Canada, USA cos they cant be bothered to learn another language lol :D
