  1. My fav TOTP moment is when Nirvana performed Smells Like Teen Sprit in 1991 & Kurt Cobain messed up the vocals & their was a stage invasion :cheer: Also when Blur were number one in 1995 & performed Country House

    How old is she now?
  8. Scotland had a good team in 78 in fairness, with Daglish, Souness etc, with a better manager, they could of gone far. Scotland should worry about their own national team rather than looking at England all the time, I know Scotland is a small country etc, but it should still be producing better players than it has at the moment, look how well small countries like Switzerland or Czech Republic do, similar in size to Scotland, but have prety decent teams & at least qualify for tornaments, while Scotland havent qualified for anything in a decade. Problem is that their are no facilities in Scotland & Rangers are the only club that have an acadamy, until these are sorted out, Scotland will always be wishing England to lose in big tornament, while they stay at home, wishing they had the chance.

If shes goes number one, she will have a bigger hit than her old man, as Vinderloo only went number two, though Keith Allen has appeared in two previous number ones, in NeworderEngland World in Motion & Blurs Country House
  10. i  Def Leppard, very underated in this country unfortunatly, most people think their from the US not Sheffield, bit like Bush i suppose. They were bigger than Madonna & Michael Jackson in the 80s(in america) Two steps behind is my fav song by them, shame it only made 35 in this country, last album X was class
  11. Urm, Sabbath were legends, but Ozzy solo stuff was good, my fav is Shot in the Dark :cheer:

Was made redundent about a month ago now, applied at a few places, but havent found a job yet, its a tough job world nowadays, especially as companies dont give youngsters a chance(im 22). Ive joined an IT agency, so hopefully a job will come along soon enough, but im $h!tting myself about how long it take to find a job? 3 months? 6 months? a year?. I hate this attitute of the right wing press that the unemployed are scum, when 90% want to work, but believe it or not, want a good job & dont wanna work for £5.50 a week  <_<

Ratings arnt that bad, usually about 3 million for the 5.35 show, the 20th annerversary episode late last year got 6m. What sort of ratings did the show get in the 80s? Higher probably, but that was before multichanel TV etc

Should the British Isles be split up & should Scotland & Wales become independent from England? Would Scots & Welsh welcome independence, or do they prefer having their own Parliment, but still part of the Uk?
  20. So lets be having you...whats your ultimate all time WC memory? For me in modern terms and games ive seen it has to be the magnificant goal scored by Dennis Bergkamp v Argetina in the 1998 WC, he brought down a 50 yard plus pass, controlled it perfectly in the air, setting himself on the other foot and therefore betting the defender before shooting past Carlos Roa. Magical. In terms of history it has to be the Geoff Hurst last goal in 1966 final with the famous commentary... Others could include... Maradonna hand of God Maradonnas run through the whole England defence The Gordan Banks save from Pele in 1970 Becks getting sent off against Argentina in 1998 Gazza crying in 1990 But whats everyone eles?

As im only 22, it was an interesting programme, especially the Notting Hill Riots, as it showed how discracefully the black population was treated at the time  The good thing about Punk is that it was Multi Cultural & anti facist. My dad who used to be a punk fan, said that he & alot of other punks were in the Anti Nazi League & had a few rucks with the National Front lol Personally i think Two Tone/Ska music really helped bring racial harmony to this country. With the black comunity at least.
