I think this is a good idea! When I was in school, I spent weeks writing this dissertation for Modern Studies and then got it back covered in red pen and spent the rest of the year wanting to die and decided not to go to university because those red pen marks made me realise I was too stupid for university. You could say the red pen pretty much ruined my life. Also, red is the colour of blood. :rolleyes: Ridiculous! I'd be interested to know their reasoning, presuming they have something more solid than "red is the colour of blood". Doubt they do though! :lol:

A question I often ask myself! I went with 2011. I don't think Cowell's going to give it up straight away but I think the show's days are numbered. And if he were to leave, I don't think it could continue without him. He is the glue that holds it together! I'm looking forward to the Christmas chart without the X Factor, I hope it's sooner than my guess.

I enjoy the X Factor and a few years ago I would have defended it until I was blue in the face but I feel it's now getting out of hand. I'm not going to get high and mighty about the cover of Hallelujah being sacrilegious etc, because I don't really care about that. But just the whole format seems to have gotten silly. The show's function is now so blatantly not about 'finding raw talent' but about making Simon Cowell more money. And I suppose it's always been that way but at least in past years they hid it better. Yes, I'm going to have to agree with the 'old gits' on this one. ;) Someone actually told me that Simon Cowell has bought the rights to this song. Is that true? So all of these people who are "making a stand" and buying Jeff Buckley's version are just making more money for Simon? I'm not sure if that's true but LOL if it is.

I doubt Westlife will split. I like McFly but I think they need to call it a day. It feels as if they've been going through the motions and not really getting anywhere. I don't think they will though. The only band on that list I'd truly be sad to see split would be Girls Aloud. But the majorty of people are expressing the same things they expressed on page 1... Basically what alot of people are doing is repeating themselves and jumping on people whenever they say something in support of the parents or their cause.

Well...there's hardly any point in accusing him angrily of 'playing a game' when he admitted himself that he is. Alot of them are. I don't know, i think there are worse than billy. It seems wrong to hear someone like ol' trev talking in that way. I wish he'd go back to reading the news. Or retire gracefully. This show smacks of desperation tbh.

But it's like anything else...if you don't want to hear a song on the radio, change the station. Ok so you dont have a choice in the cinema but maybe some people don't like watching the previews in cinemas or those Orange adverts in the odeon. You just have to try not to allow yourself to get worked up about it. I just don't see why people keep going on about it if they're so tired of hearing about it. If you don't want to read about it, just don't. Turn the page.

I'm strangely fond of paris hilton. I used to get so angry with people like her, being famous for nothing. But now i just think, well whatever she's done, she doesn't deserve the contempt some people have for her. If you want to spend your energy hating someone, hate murderers and paedophiles.
