Finally on iTunes and YouTube svCBwvoYc2A Hi song and video of the year! So slick and almost... effortless!
  3. This is superb! Finally something hit-worthy this era!
  4. I think MJ had more competition though? Cascada (as embarrassing as that is lol) I'd love How Will I Know to get some resurgence, that's my favourite. All classics though. Truly sad :(

The kind of holiday's these kids go on our my holiday HELL. I prefer to relax round the pool and go out for meals rather than getting pissed and doing what I could do in the UK. I agree they MUST know as they always manage to say "sorry mum" or something looking the camera. And surely they know their parents are going to see it eventually anyway as it's ummm... airing on TV?!
  6. The next bunch! 23 / Florence + The Machine - Only If For A Night MkJK2KVFsi0 I LOVE THIS! The only song on the album (bar the singles) that gets repeated plays. I love how atmospheric her vocals are on the chorus. AMAZING, haunting! 22 / Clinton Sparks - Sucks To Be You UdZJyJKExys LOL, this is such a guilty pleasure. IT'S CATCHY OK. I love JoJo's bit in it as well! Great track, hit potential. 21 / Lana Del Rey - Video Games HO1OV5B_JDw She scares the shit outta me, but the song is undeniably beautiful and touching. Her vocal delivery is so intense it gives me CHILLS. Beautiful! 20 / Beyonce - End Of Time lgAFD_5baLg Fast becoming my favourite Beyonce song, its just really different and danceable. She usually goes a bit tuneless on uptempo's but this one is brilliant! 19 / Bon Iver - Towers gv3Gtf94o6w STUN-THE-f***-ING. I love Bon Iver and this album is one of my highlights. 18 / Foster The People - Warrant -nt4Lujk9NE Brilliant album track, this should be a single at some point. Definitely my favourite band of the year, effortless.
  7. Thanks for the comments so far. I'll do 6 as I've been away. 30 / Wynter Gordon - Don't Stop Me kJQjAmIEb6w Album track from one of my favourite albums of the year. It's just really breezy and easy to listen to! I'm a complete sucker for her voice too  29 / Katy B - Perfect Stranger 0drhaypsHFo Biggest shock to me this year was her tremendous album, this was by far the highlight for me and is something the Sugababes should be releasing. AMAZING. 28 / The Wanted - Glad You Came 2ggzxInyzVE Not my thing AT ALL but really infectious and catchy. Out of all the shitty boybands I find The Wanted the least offensive so that's why I even gave this a chance haha. 27 / Yasmin - Finish Line (Freemason's Remix) vDWhfsQHq1o" data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull=" This should have been HUGE but alas it peaked quite low, a complete pleasure to listen to and the original is just as good but its hard to listen to after this version as it seems too slow lol. 26 / Gavin Degraw - Not Over You " data-tag="youtube" data-tagfull="vDWhfsQHq1o">">vDWhfsQHq1o"> This should have been HUGE but alas it peaked quite low, a complete pleasure to listen to and the original is just as good but its hard to listen to after this version as it seems too slow lol. 26 / Gavin Degraw - Not Over You vDWhfsQHq1o Again underrated, never really liked him before this but once I heard this I gave his other stuff a listen, brilliant breezy track! 25 / Will Young - Jealousy 9MHtrM-jf9o AGAIN this artist is one I'd never listen to, but this was so sublime and beautiful. His best by far for me! LOVE IT. 24 / Coldplay - Princess of China fj1ScSGbkSs AMAZING. Coldplay are back better than ever for me with this and 'Paradise', this is my favourite on the album (Rihanna... :P).
  8. INCREDIBLE. How is he not HUUUGE?
  9. Here we go: 35 / Birdy - People Help The People OmLNs6zQIHo Technically bad, but really cute and she does have a lovely voice! Can't wait for her original material which I'm sure will be amazing. 34 / Avicii & Leona Lewis - Collide E4a82LRNdlQ I don't care what anybody says, this IS a good dance song. Perfect vocals for a chorus and a great instrumental. LOVELY :) 33 / David Guetta - Where Them Girls At p4kVWCSzfK4 Lead single from a piss poor album. This was amazing though thanks to Nicki obvs. 32 / Emeli Sandé - Heaven 883yQqdOaLg Now this took a while to grow on me, but boy once it did it was INFECTIOUS. Nothing else I've heard from her is any good though so I'm calling one hit wonder! 31 / Lady GaGa - Heavy Metal Lover lyN5157_Xos No secret GaGa let me down this year, the album was CRAP for the most part and the singles have been well below parr. But this little JAM is actually GOOD. Very understated, not a hit though obv.
  10. Thanks for the comments :) Next five :) 40 / Azealia Banks - 212 i3Jv9fNPjgk Just recently got into this, love the attitude and the lyrics are brilliant and witty. She's definitely on my ones-to-watch list. 39 / Gavin Degraw - Radiation HpWROeCC02Y Not much to say but this is a brilliant and catchy record from a very underrated artist! 38 / Jamie Woon - Lady Luck BvsfGhEqnXE Love this guys vocal, the album is in my top 20 of the year easily. He's incredibly talented and underrated. 37 / Best Coast - Crazy For You XCqjFxUMU6Q This was a Shazaam in the middle of Top Man hahaha, I love how upbeat and happy it is! Too short though :( 36 / Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work 1PorW3y5n1w TOTALLY not my thing but this band are great! They do the pop-rock thing SO well and manage to stay current at the same time. LOVELY.
  11. Well what does he ADD 'Verity'? :) NEXT FIVE: 45 / James Blake - Limit To Your Love oOT2-OTebx0 Cracking vocals, creepy music and very atmospheric. Perfect bath music? haha. 44 / Florrie - Experimenting With Rugs 1baV-HACC38 Despite the ridiculous title (unless I'm missing something?) this song is a top electro-pop number from a very promising Popstar. I know nothing of her or any of her other work really, but this is sublime! 43 / Wynter Gordon - Back To You GT6t8VJU9t4 BALLADWYNTER is soooo good! I love the slight synthy bits in the background, and she vocally sounds her best for me here. Beautiful song! 42 / Rihanna - You Da One 2iAczjvLoi8 Not AS GOOD as it could have been, but she set the bar very high with 'We Found Love', still good SUMMER song (NOT WINTER RIHANNA), and I imagine it'll be overshadowed completely by its early release so will be forgotten. Bring on single #3! 41 / Swedish House Mafia - Save The World bKFmLwjLp8s I've always found SHM totally overrated (One = EW) but this is AMAZING, euphoric and everyone knows the chorus without ever hearing it. Hear it in a club and YOU WILL KNOW THE MEANING OF LIFE! COMMENTTTT
  12. Here we go!! Amazing year for music! Let's start with the first five. 50 / Florence + The Machine = Shake It Out RCWnVznnWcs The comeback we all waited for, a bit disappointing at first. A grower though and still a good song. Nothing on 'Dog Days' of course. 49 / Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger suRsxpoAc5w HE LOOKS AMAZING. However the song stupidly including a cameo from that 'Dirrty' one hit wonder :). Song was catchy and massive all over the world. 48 / Labrinth - Earthquake u0fk6syQ7iY Brilliant single from an underrated artist. I know nothing of him other than this and 'Let The Sun Shine' this is obviously better. Tinie adds nothing to it though obviously. 47 / Beyonce - 1+1 MBK_GqLHEZo Second? single from her floppy album '4' which was a really cute love song with warbling vocals over the top. I LOVE IT. This is the Beyonce I like! 46 / Nicola Roberts - Lucky Day zNt77RJHfJQ OMG I love this bitch, so quirky but in an actual cool way. Song was brilliant and catchy can't fault it or her really. MY-Y-Y-Y-Y LUCKY DAY-Y-Y-Y-YY

Oh Sia, this is a bit embarrassing for her surely?

I would love to go see him but no one I know or live with would go :(
  15. She sounds like Kylie... "2 Hearts" style.
  16. Did no one else here Gary say "that's why I picked this song for you"?!
  17. THAT was incredible!!
  18. Could Little Mix do 'Silent Night' acapella? That would be AMAZING.

Vocally 'Hurt' is good, those low notes sound great! But the backing track is too loud and takes any soul or emotion the original (and Johnny Cash's did). Iris is good however but too slow! Might have to edit that haha.

He samples the riff of Levels which is the bit I love.
  21. Mikal posted a post in a topic in Rihanna's Rihanna
It GROWS fast. Even I hated it!
  22. Mikal posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
I hate Flo Rida for sampling Levels. Levels should be getting ALLLLL the success, not SHARING it!
  23. I like her as a person that I can't hate anything she does :( She SERIOUSLY needs her own Disney show though! She's PERFECT for that!
  24. I so LOVE 'Watch N Learn' makes me wanna POP my PUSSY ha.
  25. Rihanna week seems likely, she has SUCH a back catalogue and there's a some there that any of the contestants could sing... and well.
