Hello, fellow Madonna fans. How would you feel for a little game called Name That Madonna Tune? Well, I have set up everything. This is what will happen: The Objective: The objective is simple. Given a short clip of a Madonna song, name the song the clip was extracted from! The Clips: 1) Each clip will be extracted from one of Madonna's 10 studio albums -- Madonna through Confessions On A Dance Floor. NO Singles, NO Remixes of any sort (official or unoffical). Live albums will not be used. 2) Each clip will contain 0.75 to 2.00 seconds of instrumental music. Vocals will not be present in any of the clips. 3) The clips will be encoded as MP3 files at 128 kbps. 4) No song will be used twice throughout the regular season. How To Play: I will post a new thread for each round, containing a link to the clip for downloading. When you think you know the song the clip was extracted from, you can submit your answer by PM-ing me the answer. Your PM should contain your BuzzJack Username and your song guess. If you aren't exactly sure what the song is, you can guess if you want anyway. All answers are to be submitted to me via PM -- there will be no guessing in the individual threads for each round of the game. At the conclusion of a round, a discussion thread for the previous round will be created, but discussion on the current round will not be permitted. Everyone will be held to an honor system -- do not share your answers during a round! Format: There will be 20 rounds of the "regular season" of the game, and each round will last three days. The round may close as early as 10 PM Eastern Time on the third day, but may go a few hours later depending on my availability to the computer. In rare situations, a round may be extended by a day, but never shortened. Once the round is closed, no further guesses will be accepted. Only the first guess will count! There will be no take-backs. Each correct guess will be worth one point to the member who submitted it. The maximum score, obviously, will be 20. The format for the "playoffs" may be determined at a future date. A leaderboard will be posted on the website at the end of each round. What's In It For You? Nothing. :rolleyes: Simply a nice exercise and a fun activity for all you Madonna fans!
