Just had my first scout of the SF1 talent and I've gotta say I'm blown away by the song choices!!! Really well done guys, the competition is still going really strong and I've loved every minute of it so far! WHOOP WHOOP!!

Is it bad I have literally no idea what you're referring to?????? :huh: lol!! Can't really comment on my semi as I don't know what everyone's into nowadays but hopefully my entry will stand out and more importantly that I'll discover some interesting new tunes.

I don't think it was a hideous contest lol I just think you can tell that was a contest that originated on the Eurovision forum. A lot of songs are European/non english pop tunes. Luckily BJSC has learnt how to become more westernised :)

I wouldn't really expect any more than Gaga is currently achieving for Marry the Night. Gaga's fans have all bought the album now and so sales of singles aren't going to be great. This always happens when an artist is so successful, fans don't just want one single, they want the entire experience! Look at Adele for example, she continues to release singles only for the purpose of remaining in people's consciousness, everyone has already bought the albums.
