  1. Well it's currently #92 on iTunes' singles chart so I'm guessing it would have ended up slightly lower than #1, lol.

    That doesn't make any sense. If anything, the album release would result in fewer downloads of the single, not more. Plus, radio airplay is a big factor in the US charts, sales only account for about half the chart placement. If a song is climbing steadily up the charts like Natasha's has, it's because radio airplay is steadily increasing over the weeks. I can almost guarantee she'll be in the top 10 next week and my guess is that it'll end up in the top 5 soon after.
