The Guardian slag off everything. I don't trust newspaper reviews since The Times always seem to have opposite reviews in their Sunday culture mag compared to the tv page magazine. Larrikin Love are so fantastic, my new favourite band! I saw them supporting The Kooks on Wednesday & they were definitely the highlight of the evening for me. Before that I'd just dismissed them as another generic indie band but they have all kinds of influences & sound totally original to anything else out at the moment. It's a shame more people haven't heard of them. The album 'The Freedom Spark' is out now & for a debut album it's a brilliant effort, I can't stop listening to it!.

I really love him at the moment, although I'm not too keen on this single. The acoustic version of 'Calm Down Dearest' is amazing, I had it stuck in my head for days.

I saw them back in April & they did put on an amazing show, very energetic & great crowd interaction too. I'm not a massive fan of the album but as a live band they really are fantastic.
