when i saw the reading playlist i had the same thoughts ...(many new tracks , b side cover , wrong order , missing hits) but...on the other hand congrats to arctics for that desicion!!! otherwise they are gonna trurn very soon to oasis playing everytime f*****g wonderwall and other hits from their first 2 albums!!! a band can keep a momentum and be interesting when have the guts to play new tunes and leave the debut-hits away.

we need albums like this in the top 10 we need albums and music like this in the charts when everything else (indie) seems slowly (or quickly) to fade away (i m talkiing only for charts and not for quality music) kids should hear something different and arctic monkeys can still be the flag/door to difference

^!!! "Cheat On Me" is their best single to date (ok almost) so my expectations about their new one are even higher...

i remember myself hearing "Hooting & Howling" for the first time and wondering if i was gonna love or hate these guys!!! the feeling was something special and i decided to give them a chance. now their album -in the right state of mind- could top my end of the year chart!!! hard to talk about best moments... amazing opener "The Fun Powder Plot" (could fit with bat for lashes top moments or thats how the best kate bush comeback song should sound) "We Still Got the Taste Dancin' on Our Tongues" ...classic .contender for song of the year. "This Is Our Lot"...over the top performance!a song that sounds like a reborn brett anderson that tops dog man star era "This Is Our Lot" from its 1:10 you know for sure(officially) that you are on the other side... in another world...

their debut is much better.they came back with something good in their hands but you get the impression they tried so hard (repetitive , overproduced , overthetop, oversomething!!!) my top moments: 1.It's Nice To Know You Work Alone (especially in its 3:03 min) 2.Catch & Release

"humbug" is amazing!!! and i m thinking seriously not to download again an album before its official release only to hear it for the first time with the best sound quality. "Sketchead" (bonus track) is a very good song and should be an album track cause it fits perfect with the dark and dirty feeling of the other loud album tracks. and i love I Haven't Got My Strange (b side to crying lighting) is also awesome...
