Is Start Without You a new track from Alex? I assumed it was on the album but if everyones expecting a #1 i'd expect it's not.

I don't know why people always insist a song is poor or going to failure because its front loaded?. Murs has been on TV etc for at least 4 weeks so would have gained popularity leading to quite a big pre-release figure...its exactly the same as a song being released on CD on a Monday. The difference between Yolanda Be Cool & Eminanna for example is the tracks received little pre-play on TV or were word of mouth, remember The Eminanna video wasn't available until the track was on its 4th week on the chart, the difference to between now and 2003 would be no comapny would dare release a song with zero promo if they wanted a good charting, luckily atm, it doesnt matter what 1st week placing a trac gets

Sunday Chart Predictions
The Saturdays showing staying power....they should be down to #8 if you judge previous performance, i wonder whether it can stick around a while. A totally insipid chart though...Roll Deep? Please are the young of this country now just impressed with any retarded garbage which disguises itself as Urbance?

The Significance of this weeks chart....
Who were a completely different band to The Saturdays....

iTunes Chart: August 2010 (II)
Well it doesn't matter, they're still going to have sold the exact same amount regardless of whether they end up at 1,2,3, or 4 it just depends on whether Flo or Emianna sell more. For the industry it will be about sales.

Both will be fine, its seems the Saturday detractors are almost as bad as the Saturday overhypers. Interesting that Tinchys last single, the lead from his new album only got to #67..was that actually a proper release?

I love how everyone believes the Saturdays are in danger of being dropped because the single is #3 when nobodies mentioned how Tinchy Stryder is failing more.

I really have no idea why Tinchy is doing so well. I loved all his last stuff but this new song is just...$h!te.
-
iTunes Chart: August 2010
Yes but the fact that 10 hours ago the Saturdys were #150 and Tinchy #40 and now The Sats are #15 and Tinchy #20 shows that it really doesn't show any type of clear indication.

Urgh i wish people would realise the first 12 hours of a new release mean bugger all. Its just all the pre-orders being added up, i don't think there's thousands of people eagerly awaiting midnight every week to download. Its usually Sun afternoon/evening before we see how everything will work out.
