So in 6 months the Saturdays have gone from a group who everyone wondered whether they'd get an elusive #1 to a group where everyone now wonders whether they'll get in the top 10.

Basically the company behind compiling sales figures doesnt like the full lists being published, they'd rather you paid their site to see them so we're not allowed to list every position. So somebody here had the clever idea of just using a simple maths question ie. 5+5 to denote #10 so we could still produce a list of sorts

Basiclly when someone aks where Cheryl is and someone replies 10+9 it means shes at #19...ie 10+9=19

Nice to see Paloma return to the top 20 after the disaster of DYWTTOSB? Did that even make the top 75? Hopefully Upside Down next for release and maybe a re-release of DYWTT for a final single in July time. I think she's done enough to warrant a 2nd album

Well whether you're on the side of RATM or Joe, or anyone else its been a rather interesting Xmas chart. Personally i'd rather none of the two got to #1 but at least its ignited a bit of interest

Read again. I said you shouldn't buy a song because a tv show tells you too (X Factor) or an internet campaign (RATM). Well my friend brought Rage on Monday and still hasn't listened to it yet and you can see on Facebook all those who are buying 3-4 copies, which imo is exactly the same as what's happening every year with the XF Winner. Either way the Xmas #1 and #2 are once again decided by the most retarded means ever. When every other RATM suddenly goes top 10 thanks to all these MUSIC FANS suddenly discoevring the band then we'll talk.

So they buy Rage to stop a song they didnt know who was going to song or what the song was, so like XF fans preorder a song by someone they dont know who's going to win and what they're going to sing? Precisely. There are many XF fans who would buy the single regardless of who won or what it was, whereas the RATM are buying to stop joe. How mnay of those who downloaded RATM have actually listened to it more than 5 times? Personally i like RATM and have had this song amongst others on my pc for years but i dont feel the need to rebuy it to stop someone getting a #1. Lets face it, Joe wont be dropped, he'll release another song soon enough and an album, there will be another XF and it will try for #1 again, it wont have stopped anything except put a bizarre rock song in the "Top 20 Xmas songs of the 2000's"
