I have no problem with collabs, just interested to see what the chart would be like without them, I'm kind of a chart freak, love to see charts in a different way, making new ones up, like the artist chart, I did that for a while but because of the lack of interest I stopped doing it.

Once again, just for curiosity, I looked up the first chart of the 90's, only ONE song in the Top 40 was a collaboration, now it's about a 40/60 split collaboration/non-collaboration

Just curiosity, these days there are many more collaborations than there used to be, nothing wrong with them, just pure curiosity

LOL! very amusing!!

Think I phrased things badly, I didn't mean they should cancel the download chart, just display both, I may be in a minority, and yes, the physicals chart could become 'the x-factor' chart, but I'd be interested to see just how different they are.

I've never seen it, is it on their website?

7pts - Willow - Whip My Hair 5pts - Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude 3pts - Bruno Mars - Grenade 2pts - JLS ft. Tinie Tempah - Eyes Wide Shut 1pt - Matt Cardle - When We Collide -1pt - Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are

We have a seperate chart for downloads (which is more or less identical to the official chart now) I'd quite like to see a Physical release only chart rather than the download only chart now, what do you all think about this idea??

Daytime TV Yes, the video is quite full on, however radio - have to say I'm torn, I can see WHY they are doing it, but like the original post says, is it necessary in this day and age?? On the other side though, people could argue kids know about this stuff BECAUSE of the music they listen to, but it's a bit like closing the stable door, the damage has already been done!

Hmmm, I put Bruno Mars as No.1 in Ben's game, think I could have got that wrong, oh well!!

Joe McElderry on his first week of release was no.1 midway but the RATM campaign kicked in and knocked it down (although, as we all know it got to no.1 the next week :()

Ignore this, forgot to go to last page, would make no sense lol!!

(for 2 pts) Which album will be higher next week: Adele - 19 or Cee Lo Green - The Lady Killer? - 19 - Adele

No, my view is what's one person going to achieve, ok, so if it's a campaign and lots of people are doing it I might, but a general week - no, not really worth it, I'm too into the music.

It's really only in the last couple of years that there has been a significant number of collaborations with 'featured' artists in the chart. I was recently looking back at some retro charts, and I noticed that at the beginning of 1990, only ONE song in the top 40 was a collaboration, these days you'd probably get around 10!

10 - H 9 - J 8 - I 7 - M 6 - L 5 - B 4 - E 3 - C 2 - N 1 - D

Hey, new to this game - hope I got this right and it's all in the rules! http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss14/justhugh/Decorated%20images/walking_away.jpg
