on the debate of where does the year 2000 fit in, think of it this way - if i was to say 'the eighties' people would think 1980-1989 right? not 1981-1990, because 1990 would indicate the start of the 90's (having a 9 there instead of an 8) Therefore i would say the decade is 2000-2009
