Never been to the UK or Ireland as of yet, but once I saw they announced a tour, I figured I had to finally go. Snagged a ticket for myself for the first Dublin date! Weren't many options left already for the seating blocks right behind standing only so I suppose that's a good sign!

Oops! I Did It Again, Toxic, Make Me, Womanizer, Baby One More Time

The only thing that made me cringe a little bit was when it was so blantantly obvious she was lip syncing during some of the tracks while James can belt it all out. And she made it feel like she didn't want to sing. It would've been fine if it were for like one or two short bits but didn't she lip sync all of Toxic? I don't know, maybe that's just me. It was a cute and nice segment otherwise and I do love candid Britney. BUT I KNOW SHE CAN SING.

I'M WITH YOU TYLA! This is the first time I'm trying not to download it until I buy my physical copy... I have a 4 hour drive on Friday so I am hoping to have that become my listening party! Lord, give me the patience... The positive feedback has me excited though!

All I know is it's Britney and she surely (at least, I hope) must have something up her sleeve for the VMA's. The Vegas performance is not very impressive and hopefully isn't indicitive of what the performance is supposed to look like next weekend. Here for DYWCO's choreo and performance tbh. That song is slaying me right now.

Not gonna lie kids, when I first heard the clip of DYWCO, I was thinking what is this atrocity... but I was apparently not in my right mind cause it's definitely been slaying me all day. Never has the sound of a can opening sounded so magical. I've probably drunk 500 cans of soda today.

It's quite sad tbh. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with my Brit-crazed self now that BH has turned to shit. What a sellout. ANYWAY, I'm glad her residency is doing so well! I really need to plan my trip out there already.

I really don't get the robotic, devoid of personality, generic, etc etc comments about BJ. Sure, the music may have been nothing groundbreaking, but it was the most personable Britney album we've received in MANY years. I mean it's Britney... she doesn't pour out her heart and soul very often at all. It's pretty obvious by now how private she is so to get some personable Britney-influenced tracks is a treat. And honestly, without tracks like "Body Ache" and some of the other up-tempos, I'm not sure how much I'd like a completely personal Britney album?

Heard the Dave Aude remix of 'Body Ache' in the club this weekend and just about died. Everyone was wondering what it was and I'm all THIS IS MY FAV SONG FROM THE NEW BRITNEY ALBUM. Great night.

UGH. Really, ISBE? It sounds more like a will.i.am song than a Britney song. C'mon. It's probably the song I skip most on the album. :(

So excited to go out and buy my copy this evening! :w00t: This album definitely seems like a nod to classic, old school Britney. It's nice to have a bit more stripped down Britney music. Apparently some people were not looking for that though. People hate the EDM on the album, others hate the slow or "dull" stuff. I, on the other hand, think it's a great mix? :lol: It might not be Britney's best album, but I think it's an awesome addition to her collection. I know she over did the "it's so personal" bit with this album but she did co-write a lot and you can tell some of her can be heard in those lyrics. That's saying a lot more than her last few releases. Everyone is a critic nowadays anyway. And half of these hard asses giving her shit reviews probably has to do with the fact they are nowhere near being a Britney fan as is. It's Britney fricken Spears, so you'll get the haterz but her fans will stick by her! It's a great listen nevertheless. And "Body Ache" is my jam right now btw. Seems to get a lot of hate but hey I'll take some Britney EDM any day! :dancing:

I agree! The song just keeps building and it has that tint of country influence, but it obviously works. I've had it on repeat quite a bit. Too bad Tyler still has a few days to hear this gem...

Tis true. As soon as Britney comes out of hiding, you'll start to see me lurking again... On another note - I'm a bit sad this album's greatness will be left undiscovered by many. But I guess that's what happens when you barely do any promo... Yeah, this is Britney Spears, and she's proved herself by now, but do people even know her album is coming out now? :( I honestly wish I could've known her excuse for not doing any performances, or virtually no appearances, whatsoever. And the contractual agreement to not do any except in Las Vegas sounds like a crock when it comes to album promotion. But whatever, I guess I'll just wait until then... I can't wait to book a trip out there...

I mean I can try to make an appearance every once in a while and not be so lame. ;)
