Although I don't see it happening, it would be quite the excitement! I think she would make a great judge if she learned to open up more of course.

I don't take it as that exciting but it could still end up being interesting. I mean it's a documentary to feature ABOUT her and not WITH her after all.

I like Rich's idea the most too. It's not too drastic of a change at all so I think it works quite well. ^_^ And at least if "cheap" songs go on the ban list people still have the chance to discover them who haven't already.

I agree with you Jon! I think it would do wonders for her! It's killing me that 'Unusual You' didn't see a single release. I know it's not a full on ballad but it would've definitely mixed things up for her after all of the upbeat stuff we've seen the past few years.

Yeah, I agree... You really can't put a timetable on coming back from or even being 100% again after the sort of thing Britney went through during that time.

It'll be really interesting to hear the material he has done for her if it does eventually get released. He had some good tracks and big hits during his very successful period. He hasn't been up to a whole lot lately though right? I'm guessing Storch is trying to work out a comeback in the producing game?

I agree with what Casey has posted before too. And for the record, the last few winners were discoveries completely from the BJSC for me and 'Hollywood' is my new obsession so I'm glad it was entered into the contest! In my opinion, this contest is going more away from being about fun which is supposed to be the point of it right? Yeah, I know people also enjoy discovering music during the contest but when has that not been the case? I think the contest is made a bit more interesting if so-called uninspired entries are entered, which I'm sure is a discovery to at least one member anyways so what's the problem with that? Like Mikey said earlier, if it's not broken why fix it?...

I agree. You can't ban everything that is cheap or uninspired especially when everyone has a difference in opinions.

Yeah, I really can't see Cheryl having a hit with any of her current solo material here in the US.

I think some of this is a bit extreme... So in other words I need to start paying attention to Radio 1 charts (which I rarely look at, if ever anymore) MTV Hits charts (which I've never looked at) and then other charts which I usually see once a week just to make sure my entry doesn't become disqualified. Seems to be a bit on the ridiculous side imo. I'm sorry that an entry I've discovered and may enter in the future could show up on one of these charts unbeknown to me. As said above, every track listed on one of these charts isn't necessarily destined to be a proper hit or have success in the BJSC anyway. A "Cheap" entry is defined differently to everyone so I don't necessarily think these rules are right for the contest. I think these rules are a bit harsh to start right off with. But maybe that's just me.

I hope we get a bit more Ke$ha and GaGa on this album. :kink:
