I like that it features some new, uncut scenes and features a bit more dancing in parts!! :D It's really good!

There aren't very many singles certified before the Blackout era either tbh though. The certifications seems kind of random. :lol: Gimme More and Piece of Me were both certified Platinum and the Circus album was certified Platinum but that's about it within the past couple years.

None of her recent singles have actually been officially certified even though they may have reached the status of being Platinum or Gold.

I would love a summer Britney album but we all know when that ideal time is for Brit's albums to be released.

Actually, (which I'm pretty sure of) although it's reached Platinum status it's technically not been certified Platinum a long with Womanizer and Circus too. Kind of sad. I think her last officially certified singles were all 3 singles from Blackout.

And didn't they mean to have the shoot a lot earlier but something didn't work out? I don't know, I remember reading something about that... Anyways it ended up being a great shoot and she really looks good! Sad she has to share the issue with GaGa though!

I thought at least 'Womanizer' deserved a few more higher up noms but maybe that's just me! When I read somewhere that she was nominated and saw it wasn't in any of the larger categories, I figured it was going to be for this one. At least she was nominated though!

I really hope sometime in Brit's career we get an album with a load of unreleased tracks we still haven't heard! And hopefully it doesn't take her death for that to happen. :P

Pretty sure they did. In the US, at least, the album gained in sales this week but still fell like 20 positions due to pretty much all other albums gaining too due to Black Friday/holiday sales. First Britney album I haven't bought a physical copy of. :cry:

I didn't expect it to get very near to top 20. Yeah, the box set is being released at the same time as the standard version and it is advertised on the main page of iTunes, BUT sales and chart positions for albums usually don't get anywhere near how they do in the US.

That's not too bad... pretty much expected really. I think Jive would be pretty stupid to expect the album to debut inside the top 10 considering it was just the standard edition released this past week... minus all the digital stuff.

This majorly sucks. I was really hoping for a DVD especially since I didn't get to see her in concert. :(

Some of them are indeed off for some reason which is rather odd. :unsure: I guess they really weren't proofread... Anyways those numbers do look pretty believable. What were people really expecting? It's only the standard edition that's been released so far and it's nothing special honestly. Even I don't have the money right now to just go out and buy it even though I call myself a fan. The deluxe edition is of course on iTunes but given it's price and how most fans would have most of the tracks already, it's only hanging around #30 on the most downloaded albums. I don't know, I'm still debating whether I will buy any version of the Singles Collection. :( I really don't care to have a copy of the standard edition at all. The box set is still a bit pricey... broke college student here... but I really would like to have the DVD with all of her recent videos too! I still would like to have the deluxe edition so I may just pass on the physical copy and eventually decide to buy it from iTunes at a more decent price!

What are you ranting about? That report was said by pretty much everyone else to be totally false. No one walked out of her first concert. And ANYWAYS, no one denied that she lip synced so everyone had to have known ahead of time what to expect at the concert. I mean she already did 90 shows that started in March so you must've had to be under a rock to not have known. The show is meant to greatly entertain and be an extravagant pop show, and from what I've heard/read, that's what it indeed is. Her fans are the core audience and what the concerts are aimed at so it seems she's doing a pretty good job. I think someone needs to read the recent review(s) given in Melbourne to get the big/real picture here. :rolleyes:

The Singles Collection (standard edition w/ I'm Not A Girl), The deluxe with all box set tracks, and the Digital 45's (where you can buy all of the singles separately with their b-sides/remixes) is available on US iTunes now! :D
