Well boy was he WRONG. I suppose it would've made sense for some people to think she may not last after Baby and Oops were along the same lines. She obviously did figure out how to change things up. I'm not too sure about right now in time though since it does seem Britney is going more for the same sound and trying to be almost 'safe' controversial consistently. Not like that is a bad thing as she's doing pretty well with it.

I don't know why it wouldn't really. But Circus is still a close 2nd. Still I probably love Amnesia more than both though. :lol:

I don't really think it's a rip off. Just cause they have three of them on the cover? I'm sure Mariah wasn't the first either. Doubt they just looked at Mariah's cover and were like "omg we just have to do that!" :lol: And anyways at least it makes sense for the "3" cover... 3 Britney's.

I'm gonna have to agree with Jon and say her most underrated single is Do Somethin'! Freakin love that one still and it's one of my fav Britney videos still. :wub: Should've been way more successful but given that it really wasn't promoted and the 2nd single from a GH it still did pretty well. Plus it wasn't even officially released in the US but still managed to get on the Hot 100.

Wow, it's quite catchy and a stomper of a track. It's probably going to be a grower for a lot of people and I can see the chorus being one of those that you want to get out of your head but can't. :lol: Love the slow down bit too in the middle.

I don't think it's a bad time to release a Singles Collection for her again right now. It's symbolic of her 10 years in the music business as someone already said and been 5 years since the last one. I can see fans of mostly her last 2 albums buying this as it does feature the singles from her last 2 albums more heavily. Otherwise I do think it's more of a fan release as I can see the box set being pretty popular. Of course, I'm sure it's a good time to cash in for Jive seeing as it's being released on the heels of Circus and while she's recording for her next studio album. It'll tie people over during the wait as we also get a new single and at least one other new track. Other major artists release singles collections/GHs quite often, or at least it seems that way to me. Yeah, she's only had 2 studio albums since the last one but she's had 6 studio albums overall and it seems to be pretty good timing.

Ya never know honestly! Jive seems pretty committed to constantly keeping Britney in the music scene lately. :lol:

Is it just me or does filming of the video in 4 weeks yet seem pretty late? Maybe it's a good thing so that the single gets a bigger boost towards release of the album and when the single is officially released in the international countries.
