I think the album should get a good boost from the tour coming to the UK or at least I would hope. With the attention geared at Britney returning to the UK, especially since she's rarely there in the first place, and with the big tour the album should at the least get some sort of boost. And yeah, I agree, radio should definitely pick up her singles more during and around the duration of the tour there.

I think the singles are just being released too late in the UK and rest of Europe. I get that singles are usually released 3 months a part from one another but the whole thing with Circus being released not too long after Womanizer kinda threw things off. Australia gets the single releases at the rate the USA is going for the most part and the peaks and chart runs seem to be much better in both areas. I'm just thinking the hype wears off before the singles are getting to be officially released. Hopefully the tour brings back more attention to the singles and album since she normally doesn't do promo very much at all in Europe.

I hope that's how she's feeling right now! She well deserves it.

Radio stations seem to play the songs more especially if they're giving away tickets for a specific artist. At least that happens quite a bit on my local stations. They did commercials too to promote the ticket giveaway contests. Also, I think there are still those people who do buy the album after seeing the concert. Maybe they were dragged there by a friend or something like that? :lol: Or people could buy the album in anticipation of seeing her in concert if they don't already have the album.

Agree... It almost seems as if they try way too hard but they fail.

I really don't get what the fuss is all about. :mellow: We're having a small themed spin-off contest for a bit of fun. So what? It's a chance to send songs people enjoy that probably wouldn't do well in the BJSC. What's wrong with that? It's obvious people probably wouldn't pay as much attention to a foreign language song so this contest could be pretty interesting. If people don't like the theme or the idea of a spin-off then don't join! It's as simple as that. In my opinion it's nice to try something different once in a while. The next BJSC is coming soon after so I don't know what people are complaining about... I don't really get how it alienates people either. No one is barred from entering the spin-off... it's your choice to enter or not. I would think most people have at least a few foreign language songs they enjoy and could enter if willing?

Hasn't this happened to all of the terribly overhyped horror films released this year so far? :lol: Who knows though, maybe this one turns out to be the first decent one.

Yeah and I'm sure it can be pretty easily guessed. And I don't think it's a big deal even if it turns out to be a wrong guess really... I don't know... if you ask me, the finale was way over hyped! It just seemed like any other episode in the season to me, not a 2 hour season finale. There's the whole Dave thing, yes, but they could've done something with that anywhere in the season to make it juicy imo.
