My boyfriend and I talked about the same thing last night. Given that the top 4 English teams get a place, how can it really be called Champions League? I thought the penalty was good, but Villareal were shockingly unsportsmanlike, which really surprised me, given that they were up against one of the biggest cheats in football. I was very disappointed, especially as they were playing Arsenal off the field anyway. No need.

I do think that Star Trek is in decay, I thought Enterprise was c**p and never watched it, whilst I love all the others. I'm worried- no Rick Berman :unsure:

I thought white label was when someone goes underground, releases something under a different name. I remember Dannii Minogue did that a while ago with one track and everyone said how good it was, not knowing who it was. That was what I meant. Not one person I've played a Darius song to has said it was bad.

With regards to a regular league tables update, I think it is a good idea to just keep updating this thread but I might suggest putting in the page on which the update is so people don't have to trawl through all the time. Rather than pinning it, which gives it slightly too much importance to me. We're here to talk about Darius, not OF tables.

Yup! I find I enjoy a film adaptation more if I have not read the book first. I actually haven't seen Everything is Illuminated, because I loved the book so much I knew the film would disappoint me. Although, I did find the film of The Princess Bride was better than the book. Just.

Too true. My band are experiencing the same problem now. I think the problem is, the public WANT the pap that Simon Cowell et al are churning out, at least, those that actually buy records.

I would agree with that definition. Tastes change all the time, hence we now have pop music which is largely manufactured. However, people seem to be buying it in droves so I guess the definition still stands. Although I prefer the term pap music instead :P
